You blinked excessively, gaze clouding until Genji walked over in front of you with the baby.
"N-No, it can't really be him..." Your lips pursed together, lines on your forehead.
Can it?
Bakugo watched warily, eyes narrowing as Genji crouched down in front of you, so you could get a better look at those e/c orbs that reminded you so much of your own.
Every muscle on your face was tense until both your brows raised at the feeling of tiny soft hands on both your cheeks. Your eyes wavered, falling into a soft expression as the baby cooed and giggled.
"How...?" You whispered, moon-eyed.
"You. You're the bastard responsible from back when Icyhot and I got turned into babies because of a de-aging quirk. Aren't you?" Bakugo accused, dragging his hawkish gaze up and down the teal haired man.
"Yes...That must have been a unique and interesting experience for you all, no?"
Your eyes glowered, recollecting that whole situation and how stressed you had been back then not knowing how and why something like that happened.
"Fuck no!" Bakugo huffed.
Genji began bouncing the baby in his arms, ignoring Bakugo's comment for the most part and reverting his attention back to you.
"He doesn't seem like such a monster in this form, right?" Genji's voice sounded innocent. "But don't forget what he did to you..." His voice quickly turned darker and harsher, suddenly pulling the baby away from you.
He had a point.
Your e/c eyes narrowed, face twisting as traumatic memories from your unforgettable past flashed through your mind...your father being the center and reason for it all. It was hard to shake off those thoughts, but you kept your eyes glued to Genji, carefully observing his movements as he began to play with the baby for a bit until there was a certain gleam in his eyes.
"Don't you want to get revenge on him for what he did to you and your mother? It would be so easy to-"
You gasped when Genji wrapped a hand around the baby's small neck, motioning how easy it would be to snap his neck.
Before Genji could proceed any further though, the door flew open and Dabi walked in and Genji's hand moved away from the baby's neck and around the miniature body instead.
You were mildly relieved, but your eyes grew wide when you saw what was in Dabi's jagged and gnarled hands, a syringe.
"You brought it."
Dabi was expressionless the whole time, running a hand through his hair before dawdling over to you as Genji stepped aside.
