(For the first time ever, I know)

"So I never did see you last week...what prompted you to ditch me?" I asked in a sarcastic offended tone.

"I'm sorry, it's just...Sean. Ethan really needed to see him and I couldn't just let him fend for himself, you know?" Y/n shrugged as her eyes lowered towards the floor.

"Yeah. So what happened?" I asked.

"Well Ethan is staying with his parents for now. Just until...you know..Sean dies." She huffed in sadness.

"Wait, so you're home alone? I know your mom and Veronica are away..." I trailed off; hinting at something I hope she'd get.

"Ethan's brother traded with him. He really needed a break, so I'm letting him stay with me." She smiled at me as we passed by some lockers.

"Grayson?" I asked.

"Yeah, Gr- Wait! Wait! Wait!" She stammered as she stopped mid way in the school hall; stopping me as well.

"You know- H-How do you know Grayson?" She asked.

"Uh...He-Uh...Ethan and Grayson went to my old school. And they were popular. So I knew them. At my school. Which was last year." I stuttered obviously.

She scrunched her eyebrows and looked up to my face with confusion written on her face.

"Do you know what happened? With Ethan?" She asked.

"Sort of..." I lied.

"Tell me? Please?" She begged.

"I-It's really not my place to say." I shrugged.

"Please...? I-I just gotta know." She sighed.

"I- er-...Fine." I scoffed.

"Thank you." She smiled at me.

She went on her tippy toes and leaned in to my face; pecking my lips in gratitude. I smiled at her.

"Ethan...He was very well known around the school because him and his brother played Football. Ethan started a relationship with a very popular and beloved girl named Elizabeth. He started abusing her. Long story short, the school hated him and then he...tried to kill himself." I summed up.

"Wait, what?!" She asked in shock.

"The Ethan you know, is completely different from the Ethan he actually is. I'd watch out." I shrugged; giving her false advise.
