Hunter's POV-

~10 months later. February 2017~

Tonight, Mallory and I are back in Breaux Bridge, having dinner with her parents.

"Thank you for this, Mrs. Collins. It was very delicious," I say finishing my plate of food.

"You're welcome, sweetheart." She says.

When we all finish, Mallory helps her mom wash the dishes, while her father, Brent, and I watch the Saints' football game on the television.

"Yes!" Brent says, throwing his hands in the air, "touchdown!"

"Touchdown!" I repeat, doing the same.

"I don't see why they love football so much," I hear Mallory laugh.

"Me neither. When football is on, it's a good time to sleep." Her mother laughs with her, which makes me smile.

We all continue to talk in the living area. Mallory telling her parents how much she loves living in Nashville and how beautiful it is.

Mallory is finishing up her conversation with her mother, Sara, and I look over to Brent.

"Uh, Mr. Collins?" I say.

He looks up at me, "yes?"

"Can I talk to you? Alone?"

He nods and we stand up and walk outside.

"What do you need Hunter?" He asks.

"There's something I've been wanting to ask you."
