Mallory's POV-

"If the baby doesn't live, I will go after him." Hunter says,

"It's all my fault, Hunter, I shouldn't have went near him. I was about to stay at home but I didn't know if someone was in trouble."

"It's not your fault," he hugs me close to him.

We see the nurse still fiddling with the machines to see if there's anything wrong with them.

"I just wish I could have prevented this," I cry and he holds me closer.

"We'll be okay," he says.

"I believe you."

"It will be okay."

As soon as those words come out of his mouth, we hear a noise. Me and Hunter stop crying and look up at the machine as the nurse grins widely at us.

"There's the heartbeat," she says.

Hunter hugs me tightly while smiling, "I told you it would be okay."

"Your little boy is just fine." The nurse smiles.

"Boy?" I grin widely and Hunter smiles at me.

I get to go home a few hours later, and me and Hunter both get home knowing that our son is okay.
