One year. My high school crush was older by a year. Sadly he's no longer a High school crush. More like crushing on a College boy. I just wish he would notice me.
After hanging out with jack, it bothered me he wouldn't tell me about his new girlfriend. I Just can't match it up, if jack had a crush... why is he dating a different girl?
Wait a minute! What if he's Just using this girl to make his crush jealous. Ughhhhh! I hate boys! Especially ones I like and have to pretend I don't like.
When I woke up all I thought was about Jack.... why him?!
I got out of bed, going to brush my teeth before going downstairs. I hear laughter probably my mom and brothers. When I walked in I was shocked. My dad!
I screamed running up to him and hugging him. I haven't been around my dad much.... he's been working so much. He tends to go away for business or just gets home late and leaves early.
I start getting watery eyes. "I missed you home dad." I whisper. "I missed you all too." Says. I feel my brothers hugging from behind, my mom joining us.
"Alright guys c'mon! You have school. You gotta eat and I'm taking you guys to school!" He says. We laugh before getting our own plate.
- As I'm finishing getting ready my dad and brothers yell for me. I groan looking at myself in the mirror.

"My baby girl still gorgeous." My dad complimented once I got downstairs. I thanked him running to his car.

Nothing was interesting at school. No tea was being told which I was shocked cause most of the time there was. I told my friends that my dad is home.
I had to walk home after school because my dad forgot that I didn't take my car to school. I walked inside to my dad and brothers play fighting.
I run and jump on my dads back helping my brothers. Before they all turn on me and start fighting me. I get hit with pillows laughing. "Hey! That's not fair!" I laugh.
They didn't care, Matt starts to tickle me making me laugh. "Guys I'm gonna pee myself." Matt continues but then my dad stops him.
Matt turns to my dad tickling and attacking him. I laugh heading to the kitchen to get a water bottle and going to use the bathroom.
I hear the doorbell ring, my dad will get it. Soon I flush and wash my hands going to see who it is. I turn the corner into the living room and see my jack.
"Jack what are you doing here?" I asked interrupting my dad and jacks conversation. "Savannah.... why didn't you tell me about this new boy?" My dad asks.
My dad is overprotective especially because I'm his only daughter. He always wants to meet my friends before I can hangout with them.
"Oh uh... we just became friends. This is Jack. Jack this is my dad." I nervously introduce them.
"Oh nice to meet you sir." Jack smiled going to shake my dads hands which he shakes.
"Nice to meet you.... Jack." My dads said Unsurely. "I should probably get going then... I'll just come by later Savs." Jack said turning to me.
"Oh... are you sure? If you want we can talk-"
"Outside or in the living room" My dad Interrupts. I glance at my dad then back at jack knowing my dad won't change his mind.
"No it's okay... I'll just talk to you another time." He says heading to the door. I walk after him. Before he can get to the door my mom walks in.
"Oh jack! Hi honey! Are you leaving already?" My mom asked.
"Yeah."
"Is john being a overprotective father?" My mom asked. I nodded my head slowly. "Oh jack! Stay for dinner! It'll be done a few." She said.
"Yes! Stay!" I agreed fast really happy. Jack chuckled at my reaction. "I mean- yeah- i-if you want to, cause you don't have to if you don't." I ranted stuttering a bit.
Jack laughed. "Okay."
"I guess I'll be seeing you at Dinner... Jack." My dad said walking by. I giggled.
I run up the stairs quickly with jack before my dad says anything. "Whatcha wanna do?" I ask closing my door.
"I don't care.... we can watch a movie, we can play a game, or I don't know." He says.
"How about we watch a movie and talk?" I ask.
"Talk about what?" He asks. "Well.... is there anything your not telling me?" I asked without thinking. God dammit.
He looked at me confused. I looked for a movie on my laptop while he thought about it. Seriously how long does it take to tell the truth?!
"I'm gonna grab chips while you think about it." I say leaving the room. I heard him sigh when I was closing the door.
Jack
God dammit she know! Stassie, Sammy, Nate, and Johnson all said that she would find out. They also said, "funny how you'll date a 14 year old but you won't date a 19 year old girl who is better."
Specifically Stassie said that. You know because Stassie and Savs are friends now. So they Can team against me. Savs probably has Sammy also because of Stassie.
Savannah While I was grabbing my chips, I thought about something. I have to also tell jack the truth. When he hasn't either. Why am I even getting mad.
I mean I don't even turn 18 until April. I just hope jack and I don't even get close. I mean we've been getting closer and hanging out more. I hate this. I groan even thinking about it.
Then my dad walks in. "What's with the groan?" He asked.
"Things are getting complicated dad." I say. He nods his head. "I'll get your mother." He says not want to be involved. A few moments later my mom rushes in.
"Complication... tell momma what's going on."
"Jack doesn't know I'm 17 nor that I'm high school. He thinks I go to college. I like him. I don't think he likes me. He has a girlfriend, but says he has a crush on someone. He hasn't told me that. I just found out like two weeks ago. Yet I'm getting mad because he didn't tell me when I haven't even told him about me." I groan.
"Okay how about take a deep breathe. Just ask him why he hasn't told you. Then tell him how you feel. Especially you're age and Identity." She says. I nodded my head taking a deep breathe going upstairs.
I see my brothers talking with jack. Jack tackling them both on the bed laughing. I smile at his smile and laugh. His eyes squinting from laughing. "I approve of jack." I hear.
I see my dad standing Next to me. "Don't be embarrassed. You like Jack. I can tell. You're admiring him. Just tell him the truth. If he can't accept that then it's his loss." He says before walking away without kissing my forehead.
"Okay! C'mon. Movie time guys!" I yell setting the bowl down and jumping on them.
"Oh my god Savannah you're so heavy!" Lian yells. I laugh hugging them tighter.
"Hey! What about me!" Jack yells. We all turn onto jack.
I look up at jack Smiling. He smiles back. Definitely one of my favorite nights.
