Cuddles - Ghoul Takizawa

I'm sorry this is short.

Shadows crawled around the room, spreading out across the walls and flooring, making it difficult for anyone to see anything in the room. A soft click was heard, followed by wood sliding upwards as the bedroom window slid open. A cloaked figure crouched on the windowsil with perfect balance, a gentle breeze slipped in past him, blowing his cloak a little.

His wide, grey eyes fell upon a lone figure covered by blankets on the bed. Moonlight poured in from the open window, falling on the sleeping [Name]. A light smile lifted his coal black lips as he closed the window behind him, careful not to wake her.

She was unknown to Aogiri and the CCG. He wanted to keep it that way, it was safer for her if they didn't know about her. After his brutal fight with Haise and Hinami, he practically crawled to see [Name]. Though he would not admit it, he was afraid he was going to die. And he wanted to see her one last time before he did.

But he survived. [Name] sacarficed a bit of her flesh to heal him and he could never thank her enough. Despite him being the monstrous one-eye ghoul he was, she saw past it. Saw past the pain, sorrow and rage to see the real him, the part of him he believed had died long ago in that cold cell.

Takizawa lowered his hood, allowing his snow white locks to flow somewhat before he approached her bedside. He kneeled down, his eyes taking in her delicate features like he was admiring a piece of art - he was, in his mind. She looked so peaceful.

How was he worthy of someone as wonderful as her? He may never know but he was, and he would treasure her.

"[Name], my sweet [Name]." he whispered, pressing a kiss against her forehead. Slowly, he crawled onto the bed behind her; his arms carefully wrapped around her sleeping form and holding her close to his chest. His head nuzzled against her hair, inhaling her sweet scent. His cloak laid over her body, as well as the blanket, and he smiled.

"I will always protect you. I won't let anyone hurt you." he promised quietly before letting his eyes flutter shut, drifting off into sleep.
