I heard that it was apparently Takuzawa's birthday today. I'm sorry it's short. Please enjoy.

Takizawa had left for work since he was called in by Amon. Today was suppose to be his day off but duty calls.

[Name] had waited until he had left the house before getting up and quickly darting downstairs towards the back door. She opened it to reveal Amon and Akira standing there, both smiling as they waited for [Name].

"Come on, he's out." She said, letting them enter and noticing the presents in their bags.

"Is his family coming soon?" Amon asked, [Name] nodded.

"His mother said they will be arriving within the hour." She replied, pulling out some decorations she had hidden behind the couch.

The trio had started to set up the decorations when Takuzawa's family arrived. His mother and sister immediately began to make the cake as the others set up the decorations.

"So, how much time do we have?" Akira asked from across the room as she tied some balloons up.

"I'm not sure. Takizawa always texts me when he's on his way home. So until we get that text, we're good." [Name] answered.

Takizawa has been stressed out more recently due to his work and [Name] wanted to surprise him. The poor guy had forgotten all about his birthday. It had taken a bit of planning and discussing with Amon and the others but they were able to arrange everything.

Amon would call Takizawa and say he is needed at the CCG office, where Houij would tell him it was a false message and send him home. Amon and Akira brought their presents and some snacks. [Name] hid the decorations and his family would bring their presents and help with the cooking.

[Name] glanced to the side to see Amon had, somehow, got his hands wrapped in cellotape. With a smile, she helped free him and handed him some scissors.

"Don't hurt yourself with these." they chuckled a little before going back to work.

The second [Name] got the text, she told everyone to clean up quickly and hide. Everyone hid and she turned off all the lights.

Seconds passed before the front door unlocked and Takizawa entered, rubbing his face with annoyance. He slipped his shoes off and made his way into the living room. He flicked the lights on and was greeted with a

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAKIZAWA!"

The young male, scared out of his skin at the sudden cheer, gave a small screech, latching himself onto the wall with wide eyes. Once everything registered, he looked around, taking in the decorations and faces of the people here.

[Name] walked over to him, pressing a kiss on his cheek.

"You didn't think we had forgotten, did you?" his face flushed red slightly, rubbing the back of his head with a smile.

"Thank you everyone. I can't believe I almost forgot my own birthday." he chuckled before his younger sister rounded the corner.

"C'mon Seidou, you need some cake." his mother disappeared into the kitchen and returned with a wonderfully made cake with candles glowing brightly. The group began to sing 'Happy Birthday' to him, watching the male flush red at all the attention.

Once the candles were blown out and the cake had been cut, Takizawa opened his presents as they ate the cake. He thanked everyone for their presents and they all celebrated his birthday. [Name] was just happy to see Takizawa looking so happy for a moment in his life. No work. No stress. Nothing but joy.

After everyone had left, [Name] cleaned up the plates and cups when Takizawa slid up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Thank you for the surprise party, [Name]. I loved it." he kissed her cheek as he spoke. She smiled at him,

"I'm glad you like it." She turned around and kissed him. His hands rested on her hips, catching her by surprise a little. She pulled away and looked up at him, he gave her a nervous smile, mentally suggesting the idea.

She nodded and he smiled before the pair made their way upstairs, hands interlocked.

Best birthday ever for Takizawa.
