"Ok... You ready John?"
"I'm the one that should be asking you that question" Said John, arrogantly "You haven't even told me what the target's name is"
"Oh right! His name is Kalen"
9:41 PM, Magdalen subway station
The train doors opened slowly, few to none were stepping out of the train. Even the subway station wasn't crowded at all. Expected for a low-tier district
"Wait! hold on for a sec John... I forgot to give you this" Said Remi
"An earbud?"
"Yeah... Lets split up and search for clue-"Remi said interrupted by John
"You're kidding right? You're sticking with me..." John said with a disapproving look
"Wait w-what?... I thought you wanted Blyke and Isen's ability to cover my back from afar?"
"No? I'm assuming that that was your strategy you used back then to fight Ember? How did that end up for you?"
Remi realized her foolishness, and surrendered to John's points "N-No..."
"Then I'll stick with you... idiot"
9:45 PM, Magdalen City
As they went upstairs to go out from the station to the city, they didn't see a single soul roaming around the streets. Everyone was staying shut in their houses
"As I expected... This town is also deserted. Guess we can't blame them" Said Remi
"That's what happens when someone goes on a rampage for a long time" John mumbled to himself, not realizing that he was talking
"Huh? what was that John?"
*sigh* "Nothing... Let's just get this over and done with"
After searching the town for quite a bit... they noticed one person looking out from the window. That said person noticed that the two of them saw, and immediately closed the curtain
"HEY YOU!"John shouted, and went to knock on the window " Tell me where Kalen is! The guy who runs this town!"
"G-Go away!! Who are you anyway? I have no business with him!" Said the stranger, trembling in his voice
"Look here... If you don't tell me where that person is, I'll break your fucking window and I'll come in!"
Remi was just standing beside John, worried about his actions
"Uhm... John? I-I don't think this is how a Superhero would act"
"Who cares? We won't see this person ever again anyway... Besides, we are trying to help him here, aren't we?"
"Well you're right I guess" Said Remi desperately. No words could come through to him. At least she felt grateful that John is helping her
"Hey old guy! Just tell us where he is and then we'll handle him, okay?"John said, trying to be a little bit friendly
"O-Okay okay! He resides in the tallest building in this town! but I don't know what floor he's living in okay? Now leave me alone!"
'Judging by using Isen's ability, this guy isn't lying. Well that was easy... He's probably residing on the top floor. Just like the school's rooftop' John thought
"See? That wasn't so hard at all was it?"
"Woah that was quick... I had a harder time finding the tyrant in my first time" Said Remi
"That's probably because you tried to act all kind and cute... If you act like that, no one's going to care about what you have to say at all" I explained

After a short while, they finally arrived at the tallest building... which wasn't hard to find in the slightest. Not to mention that the 'tallest' building wasn't even tall at all "This is the tallest building they can build?" John asked surprised
"Maybe they can't get enough resources to build it... This is a low-tier district after all" Remi explained
*sigh* "Whatever... let's just go in and find Kalen"
They quietly stepped in to the building, just to notice two men guarding the front hall
