"Lynne?" The woman smirked " The fact that you kids know that name, must mean that you're both superheroes"

Huh? Who is this woman? Why did she straight out assume that we're superheroes?

7:37 PM, Tronia

John POV

"And what makes you say that?" Remi asked

"Its actually REALLY surprising how frequent superheroes show up. It has only been my second day on the job. Is that how its really is out here? Or is it just luck?"

What is this woman rambling on about? It's actually pissing me off... and what the hell does she mean by 'luck'?

"Are you deaf? She was asking you a question" I asked irritated

"Sorry to break the news to you kids... But the person you're looking for doesn't exist. You both have just been baited to come here"

Baited? So the target didn't exist in the first place? *sigh* Nice one Pinky

"Who are you?" I asked

"Name's Phoenia... But that info won't matter since I'll kill you in a second" 

The woman didn't waste anymore time. As soon as I saw her purple eyes glow, She teleported straight point blank in front of me with her fist already clenched ready to punch my face. Her fist also glowed orange, just like her hair

Luckily for that brief moment, I could manipulate her aura into my own... And stopped her punch with the palm of my hand which now covered in the colour black. She then proceeds to teleport back surprised.

"You.... How did you stop my punch? Did you just copy my ability?" Said Phoenia surprised

Based on what I could tell from her aura... This teleportation has a range limit. And she also gets an enhancement in her strength along with her fists covered with heat... Why does EMBER always revolve around fire?

"Hmph.... Not that confident anymore now, aren't you?" I asked

"I Wouldn't be... It's just a shame that you brought a friend with you. Let's see what she got!" Said Phoenia wihle smirking

Phoenia teleported right behind Remi and attacked her in the back. Remi got knocked to the wall in front of her with her face slammed to the wall, making her unconscious.

"PINKY!" I yelled

I FUCKING knew it! Why is she so stubborn to come with me! Does she think this is a game? *sigh*... Should I just grab Remi and get the fuck out of here?

"Huh? Well that was easy... Now it's just you and me" Said Phoenia

Knowing that I can beat Phoenia without a problem... I still decided to teleport to Remi and grabbed her. I then proceed to teleport away further and further from Phoenia...

"Heh... Where do you think you're going brat!" Said Phoenia while attempting to chase me down

From the looks of it, it looks like my teleporting distance is slightly further than hers, making her unable to catch up to me

While I was getting relieved that she couldn't catch up to us, I suddenly couldn't move at all. My vision was starting to get grey-scaled. And while the position of my face is peeking behind of me... I can see that Phoenia was also unable to move

WHAT THE FUCK?! I can't move?! And judging by the looks of it... This isn't Phoenia's doing... What's going on here?

Suddenly, I saw a purple aura for some brief milliseconds flashed before Phoenia. She then got knocked back and flew to the wall to her right. 

I attempted to manipulate that aura which I briefly saw which made me able to escape along with Remi

Leilah POV

*WHAM* I kicked the woman that was trying to chase down those two kids to the side of her stomach. She then flew to the wall which made her unconscious

I didn't do too much damage to her did I? And who are those two kids?

I then looked over to see those kids and found out that they're gone

Wait... Where did they go? I thought I had the whole city in my own Time Space? That's odd...
