Ella spent her day off looking at different colleges online. The one that really interested her was the University of Wisconsin, since it offered the programs she needed for her dream job.

Even though that college seemed good for her, she didn't know if she wanted to stay in the Midwest. If it was possible, Ella wanted to get as far away from Brendon as possible.

As she sipped her tea, Kamsi barged into her apartment, huffing as she set her bag down next to the door. "El, did you do the English homework?"

Ella nodded, glancing back at Kamsi for a second, then focused back on her computer. Kamsi rolled her eyes, moving to stand in front of Ella.

"Listen, I know what I did was wrong and just terrible in all ways, but-" Ella slammed her laptop shut, glaring at Kamsi.

"Then why the hell would you do it?! You know what's happened between the both of us, yet you still had the audacity to do it!"

Kamsi knew she deserved this, but she wanted to explain to Ella that she was forced to do this. Just as she was about to say something, Ella walked into the kitchen to grab another cup of tea.

"Ella, please-" She held up her right hand, signaling for Kamsi to shut up. After she took a sip of her second cup of tea, she cleared her throat.

"It's fine, Kam. I don't want to hear anything about it. I'm moving out of state, if my dad says it's ok. I don't want to get into your relationship."

Kamsi's jaw dropped. "What do you mean you're moving?! Y-You can't leave!" Ella pursed her lips, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, I can. You have no control over my life. Now, I'd appreciate it if you would leave. I have to look for a new college."

Later that night, Brendon went to the bar with Spencer, letting out his steam. Spencer had heard that Ella was planning on leaving from Kamsi, but he didn't know if he should tell Brendon.

Brendon was already on his third pint of beer. He sighed, looking over at Spencer who had barely touched his drink out of stress.

"Are you feeling alright, Spence? You're normally drunk by now." Spencer chuckled, nodding.

"Yeah, I'm fine." A complete lie. He wanted to tell Brendon, but he didn't want to be the one to be screamed at over it.

Brendon took a sip of his beer, then shook his head, leaning towards Spencer. "You're not fine, Spencer. You know you can always tell me what's wrong."

Sighing, Spencer closed his eyes, then chugged his beer until it was half full. "Ella is leaving, Bren. She's going to a different college out of state."

Brendon didn't react at first, but when he processed what Spencer had said, his eyes widened. "What did you just say?"

Spencer sighed, getting out of his seat, just in case Brendon had an outburst. "E-Ella is leaving in two weeks. She's going out of state."

Brendon slammed his glass on the counter, causing the glass to shatter. The beer spilled everywhere and everyone that was in the bar looked at him.

"She's not going to leave and I'll make sure of it." And with that, he stood up and slammed a twenty on the counter, then walked out.
