Mady

I don't know how or when it happened, but I found myself hovering over Nialler's bed. I leaned forward, almost close enough to brush stomachs. I slid a few bangs out of his eyes before shaking his shoulders until he awoke. When I was just about to give up, I felt his warm, securing hand grip onto my arm; forcing me to face him.

"I... have bad news..." Niall's voice trailed off, and I could tell he was talking in his sleep. "...We have to... we have to..."

"We have to what!?" I shouted, attempting to wake him up more than he already was.

He released his grip of my arm, dropping his hand back down onto his bed. I sighed, taking a seat down beside him. I grabbed hold of his hand, holding it to my heart as I attempted to calm him with my words. "Nialler, please. Wake up."

When he didn't move one little bit, I figured it called for desperate measures. I slid a loose strand of hair behind my ear, and I put my arm around the blondie's head; guiding him closer to me. I got so close to him, our noses brushed together; bringing a small grin to my face. It was too bad Niall wasn't awake. That would make the moment much better than it already was. And, that's pretty hard to beat if you ask me.

Leaning in a little closer, I bent down until his lips met mine. Because he was asleep, they felt so warm and soft; and I never wanted to pull away. So, I didn't. I kept my lips to his, enjoying every second of the amazing sensation.

My heart skipped a beat when Nialler's blue eyes fluttered open, and he found himself with his lips against mine. Fortunately for me, he didn't pull away. I ran my hands through his disheveled hair, roughening the kiss much more.

He pulled away for one brief second, and we sat there with our heads together. He was twirling a strand of my hair around his finger, and his deep blue eyes were staring directly into mine. I couldn't help but let a grin appear on my lips, and he did the same. Our noses brushed past each other once again, and as I began to speak, our lips quickly glided past each other.

"Nialler..." My voice trailed off, and he looked up at me with a smile on his face.

"I... need you," Niall began, leaning in to kiss me gently on the nose. I couldn't help but blush.

"I need you, too. More than anything," I told him, and he flashed a smile towards me. This was such a surreal moment, it really was.

"Mady, I...." his smile faded, and his eyes widened. It wasn't long until he found himself pulling away from me. His hand slipped out of mine, and he turned to face the door.

"Niall? What's wrong, babe?" I asked him, my stomach turning from what I had just said to him. He sighed, grabbing a good hold of the doorknob as if he was going to bolt off any second now.

"I... can't do this..." he immediately said. I raised an eyebrow.

"What? Why? We were just--"

"I'm sorry." He darted away from me, and it wasn't the first time he had done so.

I sat down on the Irish boy's bed, alone. I felt neglected, and as if I wasn't important enough to understand what's going on. Why can't Nialler just tell me what's on his mind? It may not be easy, but once he gets it off his chest, he'll feel so much better. I know he will.

Niall

I was so confused. Totally lost. As I paused to catch my breath, I had began to realize what I've done. I had made an unforgettable memory, and I left her there. Alone. I sighed, feeling as if I was the biggest jerk in the world. If only she understood why I was acting like I was. I can't just come right out and tell her, can I? No, I can't.

When my heart rate was back to normal, I felt a vibration coming from my pocket. I reached inside the front pocket of my beige trousers, digging for my phone. I sighed as I noticed it was indeed Simon who was calling me. With a shaky hand and an abnormal quaver in my voice, I pressed my phone up against my ear.

"H-hello?" I stuttered. "Simon? What is it?"

"Just checking on you." He spoke suddenly.

"What for?"

"I wanted to know," he began. "Have you broken up with Mady yet?"

I sighed into the phone. "No. I haven't."

"Look, boy. You have two more days. No extension."

"But--"

"But nothing. I have to go now."

"Uncle Si, I--"

"Good bye."

Annoyed, I ended the phone call and threw my iPhone to the ground. Right now all I wanted more than anything was to be left alone, but sadly I didn't get my wish. I realized that when I opened a random door and locked myself in it, not noticing that I was in Harry's room.

"Niall? What are you doing in here?" Hazza asked, approaching me slowly, his arms crossed tightly over his chest.

I jumped due to being startled. "You scared the shit out of me!"

"Hey, you came in here," Haz joked, but then his smile faded when he noticed the sad look in my eyes. "Are you okay?"

I shook my head. "No. I'm.. torn."

Harry spread his arms opened wide when I went to rub my eyes. "Come here."

I slowly walked up to him, accepting his hug. He wrapped his arms around me, and I did the same to him. He had embraced me into a much tighter hug when I began to sob, but I quickly restrained from continuing when I knew he was there for me.

"Harry," I paused. "I... need to talk to you. About a couple things..."
