Chapter 3

Later that night Asia get a knock on the door. She gets up and looks through the peek hole to see G. She opens it.

"Hey. What brings you here", Asia asked.

G walked in. "I have a question", he asked.

"Okay. Shoot", she said as she shut the door.

"Um.. I'm sorry if I made things awkward between us", he said.

"G don't worry about it, it was in the moment. I get it", she said.

"Yea... but how did you feel about it though", he asked.

"What do you mean?", Asia asked.

"Like, is that something you don't want to happen again or.. is it something .. you would want again?", G asked.

Asia was silent as she sat down.

"Okay you're quiet. Forget I asked it", he said.

"Are you.. are you saying you have feelings for me?", Asia asked.

"That's the thing. I been asking myself that for a few months now but after the kiss I been asking myself that even more", he said.

Asia looks down.

"But ... you don't feel the same and I get that", he said.

"It's just that-", Asia get cut off.

"Mom?", Jakobi said standing at the stairs.

"Yes? Is everything okay?", Asia asked.

"I don't know... I think I .. saw dad", Jakobi said.

Asia was silent.

"Mom?", Jakobi asked.

"You probably saw somebody who looked like him", G said.

"Where are you?", Asia asked.

"Umm... I got hungry earlier", Jakobi said. "Went to Taco Bell"

"It's food in the house besides how'd you get there?", she asked.

"My friend", he said. "But mom did you not hear me? I saw dad! He's alive"

"No he isn't Jakobi. You probably saw somebody who looked like him.", asia said.

"But mom-", Jakobi said.

"But nothing. Get your assignments done please. You just added 2 more days to your punishment for leaving the house", Asia said.

"Yes ma'am", Jakobi said with a sigh as he went upstairs

Asia suddenly has a worried look on her face.

"What?", G said. "Why you looking like that?"

"... okay so I never told you this but a few months ago I got this letter.. it said it was from josh telling me how he's alive and coming home and that he'll explain everything when he gets here but I thought it was some prank. It didn't have a return address... but Jakobi said he just saw him", asia said confused.

G didn't say anything. "That could've been anybody", he said.

"I don't know G, what if it was him?", Asia asked.
