The next day the kids went to school and Josh was in Jakobi's room.

"Josh Imma head out", said Asia.

"Ok", he said.

"Um what are you doing?", Asia asked.

"Nothing", he said closing the closet.

Asia makes a face.

Josh looks under the bed and gets a shoe box.

"He keeps his photos in there... your old watch is in there too", asia said.

Josh opens the box and sees a gun. He closes it quickly.

"What's that?", Asia asked.

"Like you said. Just pictures", Josh said.

"Mm okay... well imma head out. I have a meeting", she said. "Bye", she said.

"Another day without an I love you", Josh said. "What? Is your love for G now?"

"Josh we'll talk about this later", "she said. "I love you"

"Mhm", he said.

Asia rolls her eyes and leaves.

Josh takes the gun out the box and put the box back where he got it from.

Later that day, the kids got home .

"I'm starving !", Nicole said.

"Dang you remember me of your aunt", Josh said.

"I have an aunt? You know other than Jayla which isn't really my aunt. More like my God mom", Nicole said.

"She got killed when she was a kid actually", Josh said.

Nicole was silent.

"But where's you're brother?", Josh asked.

"Talking to his friends outside", Said Nicole.

Josh gets up and walks outside. He sees Jakobi talking with his friends and walks over.

"Hey son, I got your fruity pebbles fixed and spongebob on for you", Josh said.

"Dad?", he said.

"What?", Josh asked. "That's what your mom said you liked"

The boys start laughing.

"He's not serious", Jakobi said. "You know what I'll see y'all later"

"Iight bruh. Save my little sis a seat. That's her favorite show", one of the boys said walking with the others.

"Why? Why did you do that?", Jakobi asked.

"Question is why do you have a gun", Josh asked.

Jakobi was silent.

"Walk with me", Josh said as he started walking and Jakobi followed. "So?.."
