Part 14:- (Guilty Manik)

Flashback continues.....

Manik:- (smiled) Congratulations Dad. Finally you got your dream project. I am so proud of you.

Raj:- (confused) How did you know?

Manik:- (smirked) I have my ways Dad.

Raj:- Oh really? I think I need to replace Aman, kew k bho mera liya kam tera liya jiyada kam karta ha.

Manik:- Oh please Dad, don't do this. He is a nice guy.

Raj:- I know. Assa you guys enjoy the party I will be back in a few minutes, okay?

Abhi:- Okay chahu, come soon.

Raj left there when Fab5 and Abhi walked to the pool side as it was a pool party. Everybody was enjoying the party except Manik. He was restless thinking about today's incident.

Manik's Pov:- Mujhe Lilliput ko slap nahi karna chahiye tha. I know she was misunderstanding me but what happened between me and Maa, she wasn't responsible for that. But my anger issue, God I emptied my whole anger on her. She must be in pain. But why is it hurting me? Why can't I see her tears? Oh no I am confused yaar. For the first time, Manik Malhotra is confused. It's funny, isn't it? But what should I do now? Idea...💡

Manik went to Cabir, dragged him aside and said,

Manik:- Cabir I need your help. I need Lilliput's phone number.

Cabir:- Now?

Manik:- Yes, right now.

Cabir:- Okay let me call Madhubala. I am sure she will help us.

Cabir called Navya and took Nandini's phone number from her then gave that to him.

Manik:- Thanks yaar.

Cabir:- (dramatically) Kiya yaar ab dost ko thanks bolaga? Ab bol hi diya hai to it's okay. You are welcome. Waisa chal kiya raha tera aur Nandini ka bich?

Manik:- Nothing yaar. I think I just overreacted today. I shouldn't have slapped her like that.

Cabir:- So you are feeling guilty now?

Manik:- (sadly) Yes. Parth was right but I also shouted at him.

Cabir:- It's okay yaar. It happens sometimes. Just call her and apologise, I am sure she will forgive you.

Manik was overwhelmed by Cabir's words. He just hugged Cabir and said,

Manik:- Thanks yaar. You are my all time saviour.

Cabir:- (smiled) Anytime.

With that Cabir left there. But Manik was still confused whether to call Nandini or not? After having a long fight between his heart and mind, Manik decided to message Nandini. Then Raj came there and said,

Raj:- Kis ko massage kar raha ha?

Manik:- Lilliput ko.

Raj:- (naughtily) That means something something?

Manik:- Lilliput and me? Mission impossible Dad.

Raj:- Then?

Manik:- I slapped her.

Raj:- Oh assa.

Manik:- Itna fika reaction? You're supposed to react Dad. Like tv serial dad's "Nahi nahi nahi, ya nahi ho sakta" type.

Raj:- Should I?

Manik:- Of course, just like Parth did.

Raj:- Ab Parth na kya kiya?

Manik:- He punched me.

Raj:- (hell worried) What? Jyada zor sa to nahi lagi na? Dikha mujhe kaha lagi ha?

Manik:- Chill Dad. It's not hurting at all. Actually galti meri thi. I shouldn't have slapped Nandini.

Raj:- It's okay. I know you will make things better again. Let's party now?

Manik:- Yes let's go.

At midnight

Parth:- Mom kal mujhe breakfast ma aloo paratha chahiya.

Neonika:- No way. It's too oily baccha.

Parth:- When Manik can eat it then why can't I?

Neonika:- (shocked) Raj let Manik eat aloo paratha? I thought that man is only spoiling Manik but no, he is also spoiling his health.

Parth:- Mom when you care about Manik then why don't show it to him?

Neonika:- Because someone needs to be strict to control that brat. Anyways, what are you wearing at the fresher party?

Parth:- No idea.

Neonika:- You are totally hopeless Parth.

Parth:- (smiled) I know.

Neonika:- Okay I will do something. Now go and sleep.

Parth:- Good night Mom.

Neonika:- Good night.

As soon as Parth entered his room, he saw a big chocolate bar with a sorry note on his bed. It didn't take time for Parth to understand who did it. Parth took that chocolate bar and note in his hand and said,

Parth:- (smiled) Pagal....

Then suddenly Manik came into the room from balcony and said,

Manik:- (cutely) Pagal me nahi tu ha. Itni jor se koi kisi ko punch karta ha kiya? My jaw is still hurting.

Parth:- (with fake anger) Ha to tuna kam hi punch khane wala kiya ha to mein kiya karu?

Manik:- I didn't mean to say that. I am sorry yaar.

Parth:- I am also sorry Manik. I shouldn't have reacted like that. Jyada jor se to nahi lagi na tujhe?

Manik:- You know what Parth, I always thought you were a weak person. But today when you punched me na then I realized how strong you are.

Parth:- Stop buttering me.

Manik:- I am serious bro.

Parth:- By the way how did you come into my room?

Manik:- Pipe charkar.

Parth:- (shocked) What???

Manik:- (laughed) Hahaha look at your face. I was kidding yaar. Just go to the balcony and see yourself.

Parth went to the balcony and found Cabir and Dhruv holding a ladder.

Parth:- (smiled) You won't change for good, right?

Manik:- (smiled back) Never.

On the other side

Nandini was sitting on her bed resting her head on the headrest, closing her eyes, When her phone vibrated with a message. Nandini looked at the number and said,

Nandini:- (confused) Private number?

Message:- Sorry...😔😔😔
