Part 16:- (It's family time)

Flashback continues.....

Manik silently pointed towards Neonika, who was flaming in anger standing at the doorstep.

Manik:- (smirked) Now what?

Raj:- Do you think I am scared of her?

Manik:- (smirked) If you aren't then prove it.

Raj:- (with attitude) Okay then. Watch me.

Raj went to Neonika and said,

Raj:- (rudely) What are you doing here?

Neonika totally ignored his question and said,

Neonika:- Manik bilkul mujh pe gaya hai? I cheated you?

Raj:- Yes you cheated me. You cheated me when we used to play basketball.

Neonika:- We were kids then.

Raj:- So what? Cheating to cheating hoti ha.

Neonika:- Raj dare you cross your limits.

Raj:- You are crossing your limits, not me.

When Raj and Neonika were fighting like Tom and Jerry, Manik was enjoying the show with popcorn. Seeing this Parth said,

Parth:- (worried) Manik, stop them na?

Manik:- (carelessly) Why should I?

Parth:- Ara they are fighting.

Manik:- So?

Parth:- (irritated) So you won't do anything right?

Manik:- No.

Parth:- Then don't blame me for this.

With that Parth pinched Manik hard and Manik shouted in pain.

Manik:- (shouted loudly) Ouch….

Raj and Neonika stopped fighting. Raj immediately hugged Manik and said,

Raj:- (worried) Kya hua?

Manik peeked out from Raj's chest, pointed towards Parth and said,

Manik:- (cutely) Isna pinch kiya.

Raj:- Parth very bad baccha.

Parth:- (complained) He wasn't listening to me Dad.

Manik:- Dad, don't fall for his innocent face. He is a bad boy.

Parth:- You are a bad boy not me.

Neonika:- (shouted loudly) Shut up both of you. Raj I want to see Manik's reports.

Raj:- You don't need to poke your long nose here. I can appoint the world's best doctor for my son.

Neonika:- In that case Mr. Raj Malhotra you are forgetting that I am one of the best cardiologists of India. Today or tomorrow you have to come to me.

Raj:- Will see.

Neonika:- Yes we will see. By the way, where is Abhi?

Raj:- He is studying in his room.

Neonika:- I will help him in studies. Parth call me once when you are done .

Parth:- Okay Mom.

Neonika left there to avoid Raj. Then Raj brought cold drinks and snacks for them and started eating while playing video games with them. After some time, accidentally cold drink fell on Parth's t-shirt.

Parth:- Oh no. Manik, can you give me a t-shirt?

Manik:- Take it from the wardrobe.

Raj:- Parth wait. No need to wear Manik's t-shirt. I am bringing a new one for you.

With that Raj brought a similar t-shirt which Manik was wearing then.

Raj:- This is for you.

Parth:- (excitedly) Wow same one.

Manik:- oya dambo whatever Dad buys for me, he always buys the same one for you too. 

Parth:- (happily) Really? Thanks Dad.

Raj cupped his face and said,

Raj:- You don't need to thank me dear. Now you two play games, I need to make an important call.

Parth:- Okay.

Raj:- And Manu no cheating okey?

Manik:- Okay.

After sometime Raj and Neonika came to the room and saw the most adorable scenario. Manik and Parth both were sleeping like cute babies on the floor itself.

Neonika:- Awe my babies are looking so cute.

When Neonika was adoring them, Raj silently clicked some pictures to capture the moment.

Raj:- They had to be cute, after all they are Raj Malhotra's sons.

Neonika:- Self obsessed, aren't we?

Raj:- (smirked) Something is burning, isn't it?

Neonika:- It's useless to talk to you.

Raj:- Then who told you to talk to me?

Neonika:- (irritated) exactly. Why the hell am I wasting my valuable time by talking to such a useless fellow like you.

Raj:- (calmly) Mind your language Neo. You are forgetting that you are talking to your husband.

Neonika:- (shouted) I am not forgetting that I am talking to my husband who left me when I was pregnant with his children.

Raj was going to say something when they heard Manik's shout.

Manik:- (shouted loudly) For God sake will you stop shouting? Can't you see I am trying to sleep here?

Raj:- Oh no Manu you can't sleep without having your dinner and medicines. Come on, wake up.

Manik:- (cutely) Dad don't disturb me.

Raj:- (irritated) This boy won't change for good.

Neonika:- I have to wake Parth.

Raj:- Why?

Neonika:- It's quite late Raj. We should leave now.

Raj:- Let him stay here for tonight.

Neonika:- No way Raj.

Raj:- (sadly) Okay then. Come I am taking him to the car.

With that Raj picked Parth in his arms and started walking outside. Neonika immediately went to Manik, kissed his forehead and said,

Neonika:- Get well soon Manu.

When Neonika left there Manik opened his eyes. Yes he heard everything.

Manik:- (confused) Does she really love me?
