Ondreaz's POV:

The next morning, when I opened my eyes, I felt Soph's heartbeat. My eyes dropped and there she was. ...snuggled snugly against my chest. Her hair had slipped backwards, giving me a view of the wound, around which were small dots, evenly spaced by the thread.

I kissed her gently and the corners of her mouth twitched. "I know you're awake," I whispered, but she lay motionless. When I tried to get up laughing, Soph's arms stopped me. My goodness, that girl had some fucking power.

So I pulled her along, but made sure she didn't hurt herself. "Hmmm, Ondreeeeee," she muttered as she released her arms and lay on the floor. So, without further ado, I reached under her arms and put her back on her feet.

Carefully, she opened one eye, then the other. "Good morning," I said cheerfully and pulled my eyebrows together. "You're always in such a good mood," she murmured and I laughed again. Then I pulled her out of the room by her arm and carried her into the living room.

Tony, Tay and Nick were already sitting there. I let myself fall on the couch and Soph slumped next to me like a sack of potatoes. There she lost all her strength again and fell against my shoulder. "Soph, there's breakfast." She laughed for a minute. "It doesn't work that way."

"Your skateboard is broken," Nick tried. "It's not broken, I'd feel it," she mumbled into my shirt. I laughed because the thought of her being connected to her board in some strange way was so absurd. "Your buddy Ben just called," Tony tried. "I crashed my phone, genius."

"Erin Falker," said Amy, who had just shown up here, dead serious. Soph jumped up and hid behind a chair. When she appeared again, with a highly pissed off look, she held out her middle finger to Amy.

"Amy, that's not fair," she whimpered. "I'll get her awake every time with this," she laughed and walked past us to the door. "Come on, we have to change." Reluctantly Soph followed her out the door. Who the hell was Erin Falker?

 ---

Since it was very sunny today, unlike the last few days, Soph and I decided to go out and buy her a new cell phone. She just showed up back in the room with dark jeans-shotpants, a white top, over which she had pulled a tightly cut leather jacket, and black vans. She had tied her hair in a braid and in her hands she was holding sunglasses. Why she had changed her clothes again I did not know, but probably Amy had forced her to.

Only now I noticed the tattoo she had on her shoulder. It was a M and a S , who warned with barbed wire. I decided to ask her about it later.

"I'm ready," she smiled. "Turn around," Chase said behind me and she turned laughing. "Your girlfriend is fucking hot," he said softly to me. "I heard that," she laughed and looked at us a little reproachfully. "But he's right," I noticed and she shrugged.

The bruises on her shoulder could only be guessed at, so you could see the fine scars better now than a few days ago. I put on a cap and took sunglasses as well, so that no one would recognize me at first sight, then we walked hand in hand out of the hotel, one of our many bodyguards followed us inconspicuously.

The streets were quite crowded, so that nobody could actually notice us. We strolled a little through the streets until we came to an electrical shop. Once inside, my girlfriend rushed directly towards the mobile phones.

She stopped in front of the shelf for a few seconds, then grabbed a black I Phone 11  and went to the cash register. "That was quick," I said. "Yeah, I've had so many phones, only Apple sort of slipped by me."

When it was our turn, she pulled a black card out of her pocket and the cashier put it in the device provided. "A bag for you?" she asked nicely, but Soph shook her head. "No, thanks," she said and picked up the box. "Have a nice day."  In the choir we wished her the same and disappeared from the shop.
