noya's first day in italy:
(italy: 6am, japan: 1pm)

noya: my plane just landed and i'm at the airport!! i can't believe i'm in italy now!!

asahi: yeah that's great! did you get any sleep on the plane?

noya: yeah, a bit

noya: it's kind of weird though, because i left at 9 at night and now it's way early in the morning (i think i saw a clock saying 6am here??) even though back in japan it's still early afternoon 🤔

asahi: yeah, time zones can get a little funky like that

noya: yeah, i should probably reset my phone's clock as well

noya: wait!! i just realized that this would technically be the morning of the day before i left because of time zones??

asahi: no, it would be the morning after you left, technically??? cuz italy is only behind 7hours

asahi: also it doesn't rlly work like that, it's not time travel

noya: lmao, guess ur right

noya: anyway, i gotta go find my luggage and get to my rental apartment

noya: even though i managed to sleep a little, i'm still tired as hecc

asahi: yeah, a 16 hour flight probably takes it out of you

asahi: but try not to sleep for too long, because then it'll be harder to get used to the time zone later

noya: alright, i'll try!!

noya: although i'm in florence now, and i've got about a two hour car trip ahead of me to get to the cinque terre, so i might be able to sleep on the way there

asahi: alright, but be careful falling asleep in a cab, it could be dangerous

noya: yeah yeah i know, and i'll probably try to stay awake anyways

noya: but i'll text you when i get there

asahi: alright, have a(nother) safe trip!!

noya: i will, thanks!! 🥰

(italy: 8am, japan: 3pm)

noya: i made it!! i'm at the apartment and i'm very hungry but i'm also very tired, but there's no food here which means i'd have to go out and get something 😔

asahi: i'm sure it won't be too hard to go out and get some food real quick then come back and take a nap, right?

noya: i guess you're right 😔
