"Be serious right now?"

"Okay"

"How bad is this going to be? Like are they actually behind the door waiting to like jump me or something?"

I laugh but then stop, "Actually I wouldn't out that past them". "Leeeeee" Jessie whines. I chuckle and kiss her cheek, "Everything will be fine. And I won't let them do anything to you. And if they start to make you feel uncomfortable we can leave and I'll take you back to your hotel". Jessie sighs, "I just want this to go well. They mean a lot to you and I want them to be okay with us. And it doesn't help that we could crush me if they wanted to". "Well they would have to catch you first" I joke. She rolls her eyes but I can see a hint of a smile on her face, "Not funny".

I stop walking and stand in front of her holding her face in my hands, "Jess even if they don't, that's not going to stop me from loving you. Yeah they're a big part of my life but your the most important person in my life. Nothing will stop me from loving you" I finish booping my finger off her nose making her scrunch her face at me adorably. Jessie lets out a sigh and relaxes slightly nodding, "Okay".

I grin and peck her lips, "Besides the only people you really have to impress are pretty much Daan, Christen and Tobin. Everyone else after that is a bonus". She laughs and nods, "Okay". I nod my head towards the door, "Are you ready?" She takes my hand and nods with a smile, "Yeah". I smile as I enter the restaurant where we're meeting the team.

I decided to do this at a restaurant because they will be public and will be force to behave somewhat and not be their chaotic self's. Well less chaotic self's.

The hostess looks up and smiles at us as we enter, "Hello table for 2?" I smile but shake my head, "No we have a reservation under Griffin?" She checks for a second before she nods, "Yes the rest of your party is already here. If you would follow me please".

I take Jessie's hand and follow the hostess towards the back of the restaurant. It was a big table a bit away from the rest of the restaurant in a more secluded area but we were still in sight from other tables. But not close enough that we would be bothered. The rest of the team were all sitting talking and messing around as usual still not aware of our arrival.

I smile at the hostess, "Thank you". She nods before returning back to the front of the restaurant. I hip bump Jessie making her look at me, "Last chance to run". She lets out a small laugh shaking her head at me. But we don't have a chance as Alex spots us and waves at us, "Hey Ellie".

Once everyone realises we're here, everyone stops what they're doing. It's like all noise ceases as everyone stares at the two of us some staring at our hands. I can feel the grip on my hand tighten as she shuffles on her feet moving behind me slightly. I give her hand a squeeze before smiling at my teammates, "Guys this is my girlfriend Jessie Fleming. Jess I think you know the team".

Jessie's face goes bright red and clears her throat before and waves slightly at the team, "Uh hi". Seeing her in her adorably awkward state makes me chuckle causing her to turn and smile at me. Out of the corner of my eye I could see the girl's sharing a small smile after seeing our small interaction. I can already see Kelley opening her mouth to say something but instead grunts and glares at Alex who smiles and looks at the two of us like nothing happened, "We were waiting for you two. Sit down we haven't ordered yet".

I smile but it instantly drops when I see the only two seats left were at opposite ends of the table, "Yeah that's not happening". I pull Jessie towards the seat in between Tobin and Christen. I pull her down and wrap my arm around her waist as we share the chair. I lean my head onto her shoulder and I can see her blush as everyone looks at us, "Hey it's okay. I'll can go take the other seat". But I shake my head and tighten my hold on her, "No cause I know what's going to happen the minute they get you alone. Beside I want to be able to sit with my girlfriend at dinner".
