Clarissa's POV

As I woke up for my second day, I could see Luke was still asleep. He didn't leave this time. I got up and got ready, which didn't take long. I don't understand why girls always have to take forever, I personally take about 10 minutes tops in the morning.

When I got done, Luke was still asleep. I decided I should wake him up, maybe he overslept. I would want him to do the same if it were me.. Wait. He probably wouldn't do it for me. Whatever, I'm a better person than he is. I'll show him that.

I shook him gently, and said his name a few times. Finally, his eyes fluttered open and he complained.

"Get outtt." He said as if he were a zombie. I couldn't help but giggle at his reaction.

"We have to get to class, Luke. You aren't even dressed yet. Hurry up." I said, hitting his head gently. He sprung up after that.

"What was that for?!" He exclaimed, and I just laughed and walked out the door, after making sure he was going to get to class.

I found Lola, who was signalling for me to eat breakfast with her. Just as I was walking over to the table, I felt my arm being tugged on. I quickly turned around to see a smiling Calum, and I couldn't help but smile back.

"Hey. I've been looking for you. Wanna eat with me?" He asked, and I looked over to Lola who nodded her head with a cheeky smile, laughing. I just rolled my eyes and turned around back to Calum. We walked to an empty table, and we both ate in silence. It was comfortable silence, though. I'm glad, because I absolutely hate awkward silence.

"So, what are you studying here?" Calum asked, trying to make conversation.

"Well, I originally wanted to do photography. Growing up I've always taken pictures, but then I found my love for writing to be even bigger than photography. Therefore, I am here to study writing." I told him my story, and he seemed so interested. Normally that would bore people.

"What about you? What are you studying?" I asked, trying to be polite.

"I'm here for music. I play the bass, and I'm hoping to become famous.. With a band. Problem is, I haven't found myself a band yet." He explained, and I listened carefully.

"Well, that sucks. I hope you find a band soon. Also, the first part, that's awesome. I love music. I would love to hear you play the bass sometime." I complimented. He smiled.

"I would love to." He acted all princey.

We both finished our food, and headed our seperate ways to our classes.

I really like Calum.. He's really cute, funny, and he can play the bass. I'm over Luke already. I'm sure Calum would never do what Luke did. Calum is different.

After class, I couldn't help but feel butterflies as I bumped into Calum.

"Clarissa, just the girl I was looking for." He smiled, and I laughed.

"So, Clarissa, I really like you. I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date this Friday?" He asked sincerely, and I immediately smiled.

"Yea, of course. I'd love to." I replied. He just smiled.

The days seemed to go by slow, yet fast at the same time. Before I knew it, it was already Friday. Time for my date with Calum..

After class ended I found myself scurrying to my dorm room to get ready. I wanted to look good for our first date and all, since it's all about the first impressions.

He texted me saying he'd pick me up at seven and it's currently five, giving me two hours. He never told me if I should dress fancy or casual, so I dress somewhere in between.

I wore a more casual day dress, with floral print on it and black flats. I curled my hair and looked at myself in the mirror to be sure one last time.. Yep, this is it.

I read the time to be only six o three on my phone, and I sighed of relief that I got done not only on time but early.

Luke suddenly barged in, and I looked away. I'm still disgusted with him.

"Woah, were are you going?" He asks, eyeing me up and down.

"I'm going on a date with Calum. At seven." I tell him, and his face falls.

"No, Clarissa you can't go with Calum. Trust me.. Just stay here with me, please?" He practically begged with no reasoning whatsoever.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"I just don't want to be alone. And I.. Well I don't want you with Calum." He stutters.

My mouth drops.

I stood frozen, no idea what to say back.. Should I still go? He's probably just trying to stop me from being happy, like always.

"Well, I'm sorry but I'm going. I really like Calum." I answered, and the hurt in his face almost kills me. He's probably just acting.

"Calum is just going to hurt you, Clarissa."

"Like you're any better? You lost me when you did that to me, just face it. Sometimes you just don't get to fix your mistakes."

"Fine. Remember to think of me when he hurts you, and you come crawling back to me for comfort. I'm all you have here, wether you like it or not."

"I have Calum. My new friends, aswell. As if I'd even want you." I snapped, storming out of the dorm.

I kept walking until I was far from my dorm, and I texted Calum where I was at. I didn't need Luke on my case.

Why does he care anyway? If anything Luke would hurt me, not Calum. I don't know why Luke is so obsessed with trying to hurt me so much. I never did anything to him. He just makes me sick.

I didn't realize I was pacing back and forth in stress, until Calum came behind me and snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Clarissa? What's wrong?" He asked, his face full of concern.

"Nothing, it's just Luke. He's didn't want me going out with you." I sighed, and he looked confused.

"Luke.. Hemmings?" He asked, raising a brow.

"Yeah, that's the one."

"How do you know him? He's like my best friend."

"Oh, we're roommates. I actually hate his guts," I explained with a smile on my face. He just chuckled.

"Well, you're with me now, and we're going to have a great night." He promised, slinging his arm around my shoulder as we walked off into the lit up streets of the night.

Hey guys! That chapter was super short, I know, I'm sorry! I just thought that'd be a good way to end it. Next chapter will be longer.
