Here's another underrated character, C from Kumogakure. I chose him because I rarely see him in a C x reader in Wattpad, even if I do it'd be in a naruto one-shot which is also quite uncommon. Though I have once read a Kumogakure love story before. Just once, not twice. Other things about him are that he's the Fourth Raikage's bodyguard, Darui's partner (AKA the fifth Raikage in Boruto's era), and overall a skilled and smart ninja (in my opinion since he even knew the Mangekyo Sharingan at the Five Kage Summit.

Fun Fact: C seems to have a slight dislike for Konoha ninja, calling Naruto's group "Konoha dogs" back at the Kage Summit.

You and your friend walked through the halls of the Raikage building, you were carrying books while C held a wooden clipboard. It was quiet, all you could hear was footsteps. You weren't in the mood to talk. As you do so your face wore an intimidating look,

"Hey, are you angry or something? What's with the look?" C commented in-between chuckle, breaking the silence, your eyes shifted their gaze to the young man,

"I'm not angry, C, what are you talking about?" You responded with your calm voice, still walking through the halls of the Raikage building,

"You're wearing that intimidating look since yesterday, plus, I've never seen you smile for two months. I'm just worried, I guess," Your friend explained. You two soon exited the building towards C's house to sort out the reports and documents.

The house was silent, his mom out at the markets. Which you were glad of because if she knew C was inviting a girl to his house she would accuse you of being his girlfriend, which you're not ready for. He went to the kitchen to get the two of you some tea while you sat down on one of the chairs in the dining room. That day was a little unusual for you since it's the first time in a long time since he's invited you to his house because every time you'd arrive at his humble abode, he'll always have Darui in there with him and since it was uncomfortable for you to have two guys in one room, you'd always cancel the meet,

"Here you go," C said, snapping you out of your thoughts as he placed two cups of luke-warm jasmine tea on the dining table,

"Thanks," You replied in a low tone, hoping he wouldn't hear your response,

"You're welcome," He responded with a small smile on his prince charming face, you slowly lifted your head up to look at him, soon you felt your cheeks burning slightly then you tilted your head back down to the documents that need to be sorted,

"Cute," He mumbled sitting down across from you in the dining room. All became quiet again, like when we first entered his house. It felt peaceful for once, which is not normal since you haven't felt like this in a long time. It felt good, the silence made it felt like time just passes by so quickly. Until C started some small talk. Most just remarks about past missions together and duties as the Raikage's assistant.

Then we moved to a more personal topic, families. Which you hate. The two of you might be good long-time childhood friends but he doesn't know about the fact that you hate talking about your family. This soon showed when he saw your expression quickly changing every minute he spoke, he saw your head tilting so low he knew at some point it would hit the table, your medium-long (h/c) hair acted as curtains hiding your face, though you can still your friend's face through your locks,

"Hey, you okay?" He asked, reaching his hand out to touch your left shoulder, you gaze shifted up to look at the young man as your head shook slightly saying no,"Is it about the topic I brought up?"

This time you nodded, he then felt the guilt of making you feel like this. The sympathetic feeling soon devoured your friend as he then went back to his seat, still having the same look on his face, the look of sorrow and regret when he talked about his family but not yours,

"I'm sorry, (y/n)," He apologized,"I never knew that it would bring you down like this-"

"No, no. It's okay," You cut him off, lifting your head up as your eyes met his. You wiped away the tears you had shed trying your hardest to not talk with a voice that's cracked,

"You sure?" He continued, his body leaning in slightly, trying to get a good look on your face,

"Yes, I'm sure,"

"Well, you can talk to me about it, okay? No secrets this time," He added, now leaning on his chair yet still feeling some guilt,"Hey, why don't you smile? You always look down in the dumps. So, smile, please?"

And with that you did, you smiled angelically at the young man. Still some sniffles here and there, but it soon went away,

"See, it's easy," Your friend replied, his voice cracking in the end as his cheeks soon turned to a deep red shade of color,

"Why are you blushing?" You asked in-between chuckles, the sobs now gone,

"No reason," He simply croaked out with his now cracked voice, your chuckles soon turned into laughter as you stood up from your seat and went over to him with some finished sorted out documents in one hand,

"Did I just make the ever-stoic, mature, C blush?" You teased him, nudging him with your elbow. He shook his head vigorously before standing up and behind you,

"No, but I bet this would make you laugh for doing so," He replied, his arms snaking around your waist as he then tickled you. Your snickering and small chuckles soon went away as you felt his fingers dancing around your waist making you laugh so hard you could barely breathe,

"Stop, stop- hah!" You croaked out, though was cut off by the tickles your friend sent,

"What's that, (y/n)? I can't hear you," He said, sarcasm laced in his tone. He eventually stopped though as his mind reminded him of the pile of work he had to finish since you've done your's way earlier than him.
