I realized by then, the food I saw on the picture yesterday that's out of my order are from the policewoman.

She bought it for them.

And I don't know what to feel at that.

"Hoy. May pakain na naman si Inspector! Mukhang masarap na naman, a!"

"Luto mo 'to, Inspector? Pucha, sarap nung dala mo noong isang araw at kahapon!"

"Hoy, tirhan niyo ako niyang dala ni Inspector!"

"Gusto ko pa rin talaga ng homemade! Mas kakaiba 'yong sarap! Kakauway din 'yong mga fastfoods!"

Napalunok ako sa narinig.

Wala sa sarili akong napatingin sa mga pagkaing dala ko. It was mostly from fastfoods. Fried chicken, spaghetti, pizza, burger, some rice and viands.

Napalunok ulit ako.

Dinayo na ng nakararami ang pagkaing dala ni Inspector Rivera. The food's presentation looked so good. It looks so delicious too. Siya kaya ang nagluto?

"You're not busy anymore?"

Nag-angat ako ng tingin. Keene was already in front of me, looking at me with serious face while his hands buried at his pocket. He's wearing a white button-down dress today. It was neatly tucked in to his black slacks.

Pansin kong hindi siya gaanong nag-u-uniform. Siguro mas kumportable siyang nagsi-civilian kapag nagtatrabaho.

Napatitig ako sa kanya.

I don't know what he's been doing these past days but he looks so fresh. Para siyang hindi stress sa trabaho. I even think he became more hotter and handsome.

Ngumiti ako ng tipid at umiling. "I still am. I just drop by-"

"Ako rin. Sobrang busy hanggang ngayon." he said seriously, like he's telling me he's really busy that he doesn't have to entertain me.

Kinagat ko ang labi ko.

"I was busy and I still am right now but I still have time to visit the entertainment's station. 'Buti naisipan mo rin dito? Akala ko di ka na susulpot." He looks a little bit pissed.

Nagkatinginan kami. I don't know why I suddenly feel cold. My heart... it's stupidly hurting. Marahan na lang akong tumango.

"Ah..." I swallowed hard. "You v-visited which entertainment? Sa amin?"

"Yes."

"Ah, okay. You're investigating there?"

Tinitigan niya ako. "Ibang imbestigasyon..."

"Huh?"

"Ba't hindi kita nahuli roon?"

Nahuli? Medyo naguluhan ako roon. "Uhm, I was away... and busy too."

I suddenly don't know what to say after that. Nanlalamig talaga ako. I caught him staring at me so I tried to smile.

"Uhm, have you eaten already?" I asked him instead.

Bago pa siya makasagot ay tinawag na siya ni Inspector Rivera. "Detective, kain na! I already reserve you a lot because I know you eat a lot when it's my cooking. Come on! Samahan mo kami!"

I saw Keene looked at me. I smiled at him and looked away. Bumagsak ang tingin ko sa mga pagkain kong halos hindi na nagalaw. Napalunok ulit ako.

Uh... ano kayang pwedeng gawin sa mga 'to? Ipa-take home ko na lang kaya para hindi naman sayang?
