Finally, Paul's back! I'm so happy. But at the same time, I'm a bit worried. He looks weird, as if he has seen a ghost.
"Paul, I want to know, what's happening?"
"Nothing, John I'm fine!"
"Hmm. Sure. For someone's who's so fine you look very pale. And you're covered in sweat. You can tell me what's wrong, I don't bite you know."
"Actually I... I heard Stu laugh and he looked at me with an angry look. As if he wanted to beat me up again. I don't want this to happen, he bullied me too much. I can't take it anym..."
"Trust me Paul, he won't do you any harm. As long as you're with me. No one will lay a hand on you. NO ONE."
Paul looked at me surprised. He had tears in his eyes.
"What, no Paul. Don't cry, okay? You're a tough guy, right? C'mon you're fifteen!"
"I know idiot!"
He hugged me. I didn't expect this.
"Thank you so much John. For being there for me. That means so much to me."
I hugged him back.
"It's okay, Paul. I'll always be there for you."
