CHAPTER 3
PUMPKINS AND MICE

"No no no no no you can't make me" Yuri dragged her foot along the carpet, hand gripped inside Tens as he attempted to jerk her through the corridors. Today was meant to be a special day, usually when everyone's parents came to greet their child and inform them about their future. That wasn't what everyone was looking forward to; they were looking forward to finding out their soon to be Prince Charmings

The parents are usually informed about the next generation of Prince Charmings, therefore today was like a celebration to pass the message along. Though, that was only for royals.

The villains couldn't care less about this day, many don't even turn up. Usually their parents would go visit their child, but away from the main hall to get away from the nasty smelling perfume and cologne. Villains were meant to find out who their enemy were, but no one really cared since it was pretty predictable.

This year, things change.

Villains were prepping to turn up for the ceremony and royals were beginning to panic over it. Yuri out of all people, really dreaded this moment. She was now somewhat titled a royal, and her soon to be Prince Charming was waiting for her.

"You can't keep avoiding this day" Ten groaned, getting her a good metre away from her dorm.

"I don't give two shits about my Prince Charming so let go of me" She shook her head, attempting to go back into her room. Her original plan was just to lay in her room for the next 8 hours.

"This is your future, stop denying your future" Ten let go of her hand, her body flying backwards as she bashed into a body behind her. She knew who she had fallen into the moment she felt a soft material against her arm. The figure didn't move to catch her, nor did he move to do anything, but stubbornly stood there on the spot staring her down

He was still forever covered in his black hoodie, but today, strips of crimson brown l peaked through. Though, his eyes were hooded behind the shadows, even more so than normal days.

Pushing herself back up, she left Jeno with a glare and pulled Ten along with her to the royals corridor

"I'm not meant to be here" Ten murmured, hiding behind the girl as his eyes were blinded by the lights too bright to be considered healthy

"Son of Queen of Hearts is still technically a royal" She hummed, turning to face his crouched body

"Not a good royal" He stated

"Look, I'm not going to that dumb correlation or whatever you call it. If my Prince Charming is that slenderman looking jerk, I'd much rather just go lock myself in Rapunzels tower and never come out"

"He's not going to be your Prince Charming. For gods sake he's part of the evils now"

"Preparing myself for the worst, you know" She shrugged

"I'll buy you a weeks worth of breakfast if you go"

Her eyes lit up, but shook her head "Two months worth"

"A fortnight"

"Two months"

"Three weeks"

"Two months"

"Three weeks and a half"

"A month and a half"

"A month"
