I came near the car and the driver opened the door for me. "Today I will drive the car, you can rest." Dad told the driver. He is really careful today, something is definitely happening in grandma's house.

"Grandma will be really happy, you two better behave." Mom said.

"Yes Mother!" Nathan answered cheerfully trying not to disturb my mom's mood.

"I didn't hear you Ben." Mom said in a scary tone.

"Yes mother..." The pain came back and I was sweating. My voice was barely coming out but they didn't care. My throat was hurting too, maybe from the screaming.

"You better have your manners in front of grandma." Dad said while driving.

"What choice do I have anyways?" Wait- Did I say that out loud-?

"What did you just say!?" Dad yelled and turned to look at me.

"Honey watch out!!" Mom shouted as another car came in front of us-

Crash.

I woke up at the hospital with a broken leg and a few broken ribs.

"He woke up!" The nurse yelled and my uncle came running inside.

"Ben! Jesus you finally woke up." Uncle hugged me as soon as I opened my eyes.

"...."

"Both your mom and dad died on the spot. And Nathan, well he didn't survive as well." I could feel his grip getting tighter. I didn't say anything and just stood there staring at the ceiling. According to him I've been in the hospital for 6 months.

The funeral went and aunt decided to take over our company since I was only 10. I didn't cry even in the funeral. I just couldn't believe that the most important person in my life vanished just like that. Why did I have to survive it? Why am I alive? What's even the point? I didn't cry but I was suffering from the inside. That accident haunted me even in my sleep. I was getting hallucinations of Nat as well.

I couldn't take it anymore and was about to kill myself when uncle spotted me. He threw the blade and yelled at me. So I finally decided to let it all out and cried for hours.

He took me to a therapist the next day. I was diagnosed with PTSD and I'm still taking the medications, they help me with my anxiety attacks. Sadly the nightmares didn't stop but they did lessen. I swore to myself that I'll find out whose car that was. It seems like the driver of that car was drunk and came in front of our car. Such a small mistake changed my life into a nightmare.

The only difference was that I wouldn't wake up from this nightmare and it wouldn't end anytime soon.

At the present moment:

"Ben are you ready? We need to go soon!" Sin yelled from her room. We were getting ready to go to the fireworks festival.

"Yes yes milady, gimme a moment." I wore my casual stripped shirt and pants and came out of my room. All three of us came out of our room at the same time.

"Are you going like this?" Chase asked to Sin.

"Yeah, got a problem with it?"

"What he means is, you could've dressed up a little more, since it's a festival." I said.

"Nah, too much effort. Besides you guys are wearing casual too."

"Yes, because we can't wear dresses." Chase answered.

"Either wear a dress with me or shut the fuck up."

All three of us went silent for a minute.

"BUT I JUST SAID GUYS DON'T WEAR DRESSES!!" Chase raged at her.

"Not every girl likes wearing dresses you dumbass. Fashion is subjective." I was holding Chase as he was about to loose his patience.

"Okay fine, I'm being this annoying because I wanted to do your makeup to go along with your dress-"

"Not happening." Sin's instant answer pissed him off even more so I tried to change the topic.

"You two are so annoying!" Of course that didn't work.

"I don't want to hear that from you Ben. Who was the one to drop the barbeque sauce on the floor and get us yelled at by uncle?"

"Who was the one to bump onto a thug and get us almost killed?" Chase joined her.

"Who was the one to-"

"OK OK FINE- I'm the most annoying one. And we're getting late so we should go."

"Yup." Both Chase and Sin replied while trying to hold their laughter.
