Wendy's POV

I can feel someone's presence behind the door.

Is she back? Is she going to inject me with another one of those weird substance again?

I tried to break free from the chains but my body feels too weak and heavy. To top it off, I can't even use my magic. The substance she injects me with weakens my mana but I've never heard of any drug that can completely block off magic.

*BOOM*

The sudden explosion caught me off-guard.

*cough* *cough*

''Wendy!"

I immediately recognized the voice and tried focusing my eyes on the familiar figure.

"G-Gray-san? Is that you?"

He immediately rushed towards me and broke off the chains from my body.

I collapsed from exhaustion but luckily Gray-san was quick enough to catch me.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

I thought I was really going to die.

"What's going on? What the hell are you doing here?" He asked worriedly.

"T-That nurse is a fake... " I managed to voice out weakly.

*cough* *cough*

She's from "P-Phantom Lord...''

Gray-san stood up, carrying me in his arms with ease.

He was quiet for a while.

"G-Gray-"

I was cut off when I finally had a good look of his facial features.

He's angry.

My eyes widened when I noticed his eyes glowing a deep shade of crimson.

He was deep in thought and staring off into space.

I can feel his murderous intent.

"Juvia."

I hear him mutter.

"G-Gray-san your eyes-"

"Wendy." He cut me off coldly. I gulped.

"Y-Yes?"

He looked at me, his red eyes still glowing.

"Whatever you see after this, don't be afraid. I won't hurt you."

What does he mean?

I have so many questions but I was too scared to ask so I just kept my mouth shut and nodded.

"This is the fastest way to get to the palace." He spoke.

I can't help but stare in horror as I watched the next scene unfold.

Natsu's POV

*a few minutes after Gray left to go to the nurse's cottage*

"Carla, keep an eye on Wendy. I'll go check on Lucy first."

"Alright."

I walked through the familiar hallways in silence, heading straight to Lucy's room.

Something is definitely odd with Wendy right now. Let's just hope, Gray finds the answer.
