Ashanti creased her forehead hearing what Kennedy said. It was already their free time and they were on their way to the cafeteria.
"I always look blooming, dummy."
"Iba lang ang your aura this day, Asha. May progress na ba with you and Giovanni? Hmm?" Kennedy even narrowed her eyes and put her face nearer to Ashanti. Napalitan naman ang pagkakunot ng noo niya ng pagtaas ng kilay.

Actually, what made her in good mood was Kalen. She received another morning greet from him a while ago. It was not Ashanti and Giovanni who were having progress, but Kalen, the love of her life!

"Tell the cook I'm taking my usual food. How about you, Kenny?" Ashanti called someone to order their food after they sat. Kennedy smiled at the two girls and quickly gave her the order.
"Kung you will order din naman to somebody why don't we punta na lang sa isang vacant area here in Franklin diba?" Kennedy asked her when the girls left.
"Because it feels like I'm trying to be disrespectful."
"Why naman disrespectful?"
"Just like at home, you should eat to where the others mainly eat rather than to your bedroom. Do you get it?"
"Yeah, I understand na."
The food came after a couple of minutes. They were talking about the work she had been doing for the competition as well as their hangout after. She also shared what happened yesterday when Kennedy was not with her.
"So I don't need to sama sama you on the library na ba mamaya?"
Ashanti nodded. "I'll return to the mansion after my last subject. I may not be able to reply in the group chat later because I need to finish my work."
"Hindi ba it's unsafe na you balik to your mansion especially your step-sister is there? Baka naman siya iyong nagsnatch ng flash drive mo."
"I'll only return to change my clothes, I still need to go to Vercetti's after."
