As the months of the first year of Eissa's life rolled by, life for the Braxton-Jackson family had changed but in a good way. Although for the first three almost four months of Eissa's life Janet was experiencing postpartum depression. She just couldn't shake the feeling that she wasn't doing things right with Eissa. Many days she cried, and Toni was right there to assure her that everything was okay. By the time Eissa was five months Janet was finally over her depression. Many women would count her lucky that her depression didn't last longer. Toni was grateful too. Even though she did all that she could she knew that Janet had to fight through this on her own. Everyone in the house was happy when Janet finally broke free of her depressive thoughts.

There had been a few hiccups along the way though. The couple even had a one-week separation between the wives. It was major but it wasn't and neither even remembers what they were arguing about. Sometimes you just need a break from your significant other and that's what they did. Toni stayed with Tamar for five days, it wasn't even a full week, and she talked to Janet everyday even if the conversations were short. In those five days Janet missed her wife terribly and by the end of day five, she found herself parked in Tamar's driveway. She sought her wife with the directions Tamar had given her to navigate the big ass house she had. In the right wing of the house in a guest bedroom she found her wife sitting in the window bench taking in the view outside the window.

*Flashback*

Tamar's House

"Boop, I'm sorry for blowing up at you. I was wrong to take my frustration out on you." Janet said as she entered the room.

She walked further into the room and sat on the floor next to Toni and laid her head on her thigh. Toni looked down at her wife and smiled. There wasn't a day when she didn't love this woman. Their vows said through thick and thin, good and bad, she stood before God and family and promised to love Janet through everything.

"I forgive you. I forgave you days ago, I don't know why I didn't come home. Janet, I know you're going through postpartum and I shouldn't have gotten so upset with you. You just had our son three months ago."

"Still, Babe I should have talked to you about how I was feeling instead of blowing up at you."

"I think that we both have some fault in this, and I want to say I'm sorry too. I should have been a little more understanding."

"Great, so will you come home?"

"I was already planning on it."

Janet stood up and helped Toni to stand. She pulled her face by her chin and kissed her forehead then lips. The kiss quickly turned passionate.

"I think we should stop right here. Remember the last time we got caught in Tamar's house she said she would kill us. I think she meant that. Get your bag and let's go home, Boop."

(The last time they were at Tamar's house for a family event they had snuck away to the bathroom to handle some "business" and Tamar caught them as they were coming out of the bathroom.)

Toni quickly grabbed her bag and her hoodie. She had come to love hoodies just as much as Janet. Between the two of them they had enough hoodies to open their own store. Getting into the car Janet held Toni's hand all the way home. Before getting in the car, she had sent Gil a text making sure everything at the house was ready. They pulled into their garage and then quickly got out of the car; Janet purposely let Toni walk into the house first.

As Toni opened the door there was a trail of flowers leading to a huge heart in their family room with the words "I'm sorry" made of the same flowers. The trail didn't end there, it continued up the stairs and too the bedroom where a plethora of gifts awaited Toni. There were bags from every designer you could think of as well as about eight boxes of shoes. There were bags with lingerie, perfumes, clothes and more covering their entire king-sized bed. Toni was overjoyed and happy at the thoughtfulness of her wife. Though she wasn't completely over her postpartum Janet wanted to do something for her wife to show how much she really appreciated her. She knew that she didn't tell Toni enough.
