Chapter 22: Road to Glory!

Recap: Last time on a Crimson Bond, more battles commenced on the battleship cruise. The battles were Xavier vs Phi and Aiger vs Y/n! The two awaited the day they would battle and both trained hard. When the battles began Phi and Xavier were up first. Xavier looked like he was about to seal the deal with Penta Saber, but Phi pulled off a new move and bursts Xcalius. Next was the battle the twins were waiting for. Aiger and Y/n gave it everything in that battle. But during the battle both twins unleashed the dark power they had used before. In the final round both beys burst but it showed that Dragon had burst first giving Aiger the win over Y/n. After the battle Beyeen announced that the battleship cruise was over. If the cruise was over then Phi had won because he had more stars. How will Aiger face Valt now? Find out on this chapter of A Crimson Bond.

(3rd POV)

Everyone was still in shock knowing that the battleship cruise was over. Till they heard an announcement from Kristina. She told everyone that they hoped they enjoyed the battle ship cruise but, there was more. Because there were two bladers left standing both are given the right to fight the Champion. Before Kris goes off Valt appears on screen telling them that he's looking forward to the title match. Phi decides that he'll let Aiger go first. To see if either Aiger or Valt are worthy to be destroyed by Phoenix. Aiger says that once he defeats Valt he'll defeat Phi.

(Y/n's POV)

We were outside on the deck and Aiger was getting ready for his battle against Valt. He was battling Captain, it looked like Aiger had master all of Achilles modes. He beat Captain with ease. As I watched him battle, I couldn't help but remember that felling of hate I had towards him after our battle. Aiger could be annoying sometimes but I never hated him for it. Not only that but that power I unleashed in my battle with him and Fubuki. I felt so powerful and alive. As I was thinking I was snapped out if my thoughts by Xavier.

He told us that Aiger may be strong, but the world champ is out of his league. Xavier told us to follow him, I assumed he had a way to help Aiger get stronger. We followed Xavier through El Astro. We heard a voice, we stopped and looked behind us and saw a large figure over the bridge. Fubuki and Captain recognized him as Xander Shakadera, he jumped down in front of us, and we fell the intense aura between him and Xavier. It was insane, I felt fired up just watching them. Then he walked towards us. "I take it your Aiger and Y/n the Akabane twins?" Yeah, we are. I told him, still shocked about how tall he is, Xander is apparently one of Valt's rivals. Our luck is on fire when it comes to meeting rivals of Valt! Xavier asks Xander to help Aiger train, he agrees, and we get underway. First Xander wanted to see how strong Aiger was so he would have to battle me, Captain, Fubuki, and Xavier.

He said that we have to start with 100 battles, I look at my brother seeing he is as confident as ever. We battled as Aiger switched through the different modes of Achilles to counter us. At first, he was beating us, but then he started to get tired and he started losing. We soon arrived at match 31, him verses Cap'n. The battle results in a tie, I looked to see that Aiger was holding his shoulder. I walked over to him to see and asked if he was fine. He said he was okay, I knew he was lying, I was about to take a closer look till Xander walked up to us. He said he had "Special training" for Aiger. The way he said it sent a chill down my spine.

But it turns out he was just helping out Aiger and his arm, apparently, he's also knows chiropractic. This dude could do anything, I thought. He trained Xavier, he's one of Valt's rivals and he knows chiropractic's, what else can this guys do?! Xander asks Aiger if wants to win against Valt. He response by saying also wants to take down Phi as I see the fire in his eyes. He asks Xander how he can get stronger. Xander says that Aiger should master "getting in the zone". Before we battle, he tells him to use the mode that will put him at a disadvantage. We resume the battles once more with Xavier up next.

Battle after battle the matches went by, because Aiger was at a disadvantage we kept winning match after match. Soon we finally reached battle 100, the others we amazed that he was able to make this far. But I knew my brother could do it, then Xander comes in picking up Xavier's Xcalius. He's the next blader who's going to battle Aiger. He tells Aiger he can use any mode he want. Aiger goes with defense as the battle about to begin.

(3rd POV)

All: "3, 2, 1..."

Bladers: Let it Rip!

The beys were launched in as Xcalius moving at tremendous speeds hitting Achilles with some serious power.

Y/n: "This guy is no joke."

Xcalius continues to attack Aiger goes for Z-Defense. But Xcalius breaks through it.

Xander: "Now slice it apart with Triple Saber!"

Xander yells as Xcalius slices through Achilles bursting it. As Xander talks to him he can see that Aiger is concentrating. His dark aura starts to show as Y/n feels a strange sensation through their body. Aiger instantly chooses attack mode, as the second battle begins.

All: "3, 2, 1..."

Bladers: "Let it Rip!"

The beys land as they clash again and again as Xcalius loses clicks, then it loses the finally click and it's lined up. Both beys race up the rails, as Xander roars releasing huge amounts of power shocking the group!

He looks at Aiger with a grin on his face.

Xavier: "Why the long face? Let me fix it!"

Xander let's out one more huge roar as Xcalius charges towards Achilles to finish the job.

Xavier: "Wrap this up with Penta Saber!"

Aiger: "Achilles, watch out!"

As Aiger warns Achilles he resonates with it. He says he's not gonna let him down. The Aiger unleashes his dark resonance as Achilles goes purple. The beys circle around before getting ready to finally clash.

Aiger: "Tear it apart with Turbo Whip!" Aiger yells as the beys clash with immense power.

Everyone sees the amount of power both are releasing, creating an explosion in the stadium. That strange feeling Y/n had earlier gotten stronger and that surge of power was rising again. As it clears it shows that both beys had burst. Soon Aiger drops to his knees falling asleep tired from all the no-stop battling.

It was finally time for the Title match, Hanami introduced the bladers Phi and Aiger and finally the champ Valt Aoi. The first battle was going to be Aiger vs Valt. Aiger is determined to win after losing their last match.

All: "3, 2, 1..."

Bladers: "Let it Rip!"

(Y/N's POV)

I was watching the match from the top of stadium so I could see the match better, but what sucks it I can't sit with Naru, dad and the others. I watch as both beys launch in as Valt goes for Rush Launch, attacking Achilles again and again. As Achilles is knocked away it pivots on it's driver and swerves out of the way. Déjà vu. I thought, soon Valtryek speeds up and Valt unleashes his aura. Valtryek speeds after Achilles on the rails knocking it into the air. As Achilles is in the air, I see my brother breathing heavily and with each breath I'm doing the same thing. That sensation from before is back, soon the sensation takes over as Aiger unleashes his dark aura. I felt my dark aura flare up as well, it felt invigorating. Achilles lands back in the stadium and clashes with Valtryek soon the two both go flying with Valtryek going out and Achilles staying in giving Aiger the first point.

Everything goes quiet as everyone takes in what happens, the ref makes the call, and everyone is wondering what will happen next. All I knew was this battle might change everything. As my brother gave Valt a menacing look, I looked on, unsure what was going to happen next.
