Colby woke up in a cold sweat. It had been a few days since the New Year's Eve party and he's been thinking about what he had told Sam. It really got him thinking. Was he marrying Gemma because he felt bad? Did he love her still even after the horrible breakup the two had? And what about Stella? Why did he secretly feel sad as he watched her dance with Jake? And most importantly, who could he possibly talk to that would understand? He couldn't talk to Beatrice, Gemma is her best friend. He couldn't talk to Sam, because he knew what he would say. Who else could he go to? Colby felt lost as these thoughts rumbled around his brain. He looked to his left to still see Gemma asleep.

Colby got out of bed and went into the bathroom and shut the door. He rested his forearms on the sink and looked down. He hadn't felt the same since the party. But he was drunk, but what he said seemed so true but he didn't want to believe it. Push the feelings down he thought. But he couldn't live his life drinking his feelings back down his throat.

"What about us?" Echoed in Colby's mind. Stella. He hadn't thought about her since the New Zealand trip. Was he just preoccupied with Gemma to think about if he still had feelings for her? The thought of her grabbing his hand as they went to decorate cookies sent a shiver down Colby's spine. What would have happened he told Stella what was on his mind that day before Elton interrupted them. He closed his eyes and remembered that night by the fire. Where him and Stella kissed, knowing it was wrong but it felt so good. It felt right, like it was meant to be. What if two people are really meant for each other but the universe keeps putting up obstacles in front of them. Colby quickly opened his eyes and turned on the sink. He splashed water in his face as he tried to push his feelings back down inside of him.

What was it about Gemma that made Colby crawl back to her. Was it the baby? Or was it actually love? Colby couldn't really tell the difference between the two anymore. He took a deep breath and decided to take a shower, hoping that by the time he got out he could laugh that he was second guessing himself.

Stella woke up feeling loved. She looked at Jake still sleeping next to her and smiled. She was getting married! Only being a few days they decided to keep this happy news to themselves until they made it official. She got up and went into the kitchen where she made herself a cup of coffee and decided to sit out on the small balcony of the apartment. Listening to the birds flying in the sky above, Stella took a deep breath and the cool air blew through her hair.

"Good morning hun, I thought I might find you out here." Jake yawned and kissed her cheek.

"Well you're up early." Stella said as she took a sip of her coffee.

"Yeah I thought I would make it a habit of going to the gym, you know New Years resolution shit." Jake said as he stretched his arms over his head.

"But you look great already." Stella smiled.

"Well I want to look even better. So I'm going to head out, do you need me to get you anything?" Jake asked as he began to walk back into the apartment.

"Nope I'm good, don't hurt yourself." Stella joked.

"I'll try not to. Have fun here!" Jake called and left out the front door. Stella went back to looking at the pretty blue sky as she continued to finish her coffee.

Colby now sat at the kitchen island, starting the day off with a White Claw.

"Isn't it a bit early to be drinking?" Gemma asked walking out of the bedroom wearing a oversized shirt and Colby's boxers. Colby just lightly scoffed as a response. "You ok? You don't look so good." Gemma asked walking over to him.

"Just dealing with some things." Colby said softly as he continued to stare off into space.

"Want to talk about it?" Gemma asked.
