backstory: Betty has a seizure like the original story line, but jughead has a different outcome
Bpov:
I was about to go and apologise to my mom, we argued earlier and now she's outside with her weird book club thing but I knew I had to, so I opened the porch doors and didn't see a book in sight, instead I saw a roaring fire and Polly and mom holding Juniper and Dagwood over the fire muttering weird chants.
I saw this and started to breathe heavy and my eyelids became heavy and I fell to the floor and started to shake before hearing my mom scream and shout my name and everything went black
Apov:
I was baptising the twins like Edgar had asked me with Polly, Evelyn and a few other ladies from the Farm, we had organised this fo ages, it was working, me and polly were holding the twins, and gently dropped them, and they started to float, but before I could clap my hands in delight I saw my darling Betty fall to the floor and start shaking, I started screaming and crying for her, I shouted at Polly "call an ambulance, call an ambulance, she's having a seizure, quick polly!" she did and before I knew it I was in the back in an ambulance holding into my littles girls hand hoping she'd be okay
2 Days later
JPov:
It's been 2 days since I heard from Betty and I was starting to get worried so I rang Alice,
"Alice? It's jughead, do you know where Betty is? I haven't heard from her in a while"
"She's in the hospital jug, you need to come down now"
as soon as I heard she's in the hospital I was already in the car, and driving I couldn't believe I couldn't think of what happened
I was greater by my worst nightmare, she was hooked up to a million machines and had wires moving in and out of her, Alice patted me on the back and left the room, my knees buckled beneath me, I started to cry, I walked over to her bedside and held her hand,
"Betts, I know you can't hear me right now, but I want you to know I love you, so much, I can't live without you, I want to grow old with you and have 2 kids like we promised" I kissed her head and sat down again looking at her peaceful face, it was calm and quite in the hospital until I heard a loud sharp beep coming from the machine Betty was hooked up to, I could see her flatlining, I was screaming and crying before I heard doctors come in and Archie pick me up and drag me out along with Ronnie, and the pair of them just held me while I watched my baby girl fight for her life,
I wished I kissed her harder when I last saw her, I didn't know if that was going to be that last time...
