"alright, that's Jellybean all cleared up, my moms coming soon so we'll talk to her about you two living here okay?" I softly hugged him and let him get ready for a shower before my mom turned up I set Jellybean up for a movie in my room, I doubt she wanted to hear this conversation with my mom and Jughead.
I let my mom into the apartment and brought her into a hug
"hey mom, how are you? polly and the twins?" I smiled after I started to make her a cup of coffee
"hey darling, I'm okay, I met a guy, he's so lovely and the twins are okay Polly's engaged, she's sending invites out soon, your top of the list" she smiled brightly and sat down
"listen mom, I need to talk to you about something" I sighed and sat down next to her on the kitchen couch
"what is it honey" she smiled grabbing my hand
"I have a friend-" I smirked and looked down
"-friend, who's going through some really tough shit with his dad and his sister and he really needs a place to stay where it's safe" I sighed again
"honey, is this boy your boyfriend" she smirked while smiling brightly
"it's a bit complicated mom, I mean we like each other, we've kissed but like I said, it's complicated" I fiddled with my fingers
"okay darling, he's perfectly okay to stay here, thank you for telling me, can I meet him?" she smirked again
"yeah let me go upstairs and get him" I jumped and sprinted up the stairs to grab Jughead
"she wants to meet you Jug" i hissed through the door whilst he was getting dressed
"what! I thought you said she'd be fine with it!" he whispered shouted back
"She is! she just wants to meet you dumb ass" I giggled
"alright alright fine, give me two seconds okay?"
I slumped against the door and let him get dressed
"ready?" I said as he walked out
"ready as I'll ever be love" he smiled and kissed my hair, grabbing my hand and walked downstairs with me
"well aren't you two cute together" my mom clasped her hands together
"mom, this is Jughead, Jughead this is my mom Alice" I introduced them, Jughead thrust his hand out to shake hers
"oh don't be silly Jughead, I'll have a hug" she pulled him in softly remembering the abuse of his father
"thank you for letting me and my sister stay Miss Cooper"
"it's Alice darling, and of course it's okay like I'm sure Betty told you that I like to help so you and your sister are welcome to stay here as long as you want" she chuckled,
we talked about the situation for hours and she even met Jellybean and then left us in peace, I then got in the shower with Jughead again.

"so your mom is definitely okay with this?" I said stroking her arm softly, whilst she had her hands through my hair Jellybean was sleeping soundly in her room which was the spare bedroom
"yes Jughead, she's perfectly fine with this alright!" she giggled kissing my nose
"okay okayy" I whined, tucking her into my neck
"night love" I smiled kissing her head
"night Jug" she snuggled into my chest
time skip 5 hours (3:30 am)

"juggie" I woke up to Jellybean shaking my arm for me to wake up, I groaned and rubbed my face, turning over to see Betty sleeping soundly
thank god she didn't wake her up
"what is it Jell? it's half three what are you doing up?" I spoke gruffly
"I want to cuddle with you and Betty" she whined fumbling with her teddy
"no go back to bed, I'm tired" I groaned rolling back over to spoon Betty
"please Juggie, I'm scared" she whispered, I bolted back to her side
"why what's wrong Jell" I was concerned now, i had no idea as too why she was scared
"daddy, what he hurts you again" she whimpered
"he won't baby, we're safe with Betty now-" I was cut off by a soft groan
"jug? what are you doing up" she spoke in a scratchy voice she looked like an angel despite only just waking up
"jellybean woke up she thinks dads gonna hurt me again" i sighed
"oh little one, it's okay you and jug are safe here with me okay? I promise" she booped her nose and Jellybean snuggled into her chest
"thank you Betty, I love you" she whispered softly
"I love you too Jell, go to sleep now okay" she laid down with Jelly on her chest
"Thanks Betts" I smiled kissing her forehead and by the time I'd pulled myself back she'd fallen asleep again.
time skip 5 years.
"juggie look! James is walking come quick!" My wife, yes you heard, wife screamed from downstairs I practically flew down them missing 3 steps at a time just in time to see my little boy walking for the first time, i joined Betty on the floor and we clapped when James fell to the floor in a fit of giggles, Betty was crying and so was I.
"I'm so proud of him!" She said after we'd tucked him into bed,
"and so am I, god I'm glad I wasn't at work today, I would of died if I hadn't seen that" I chuckled scooping her up and placing her in bed with me
"tired huh?" She giggled stroking my hair
"nope, I just want an excuse to cuddle you Mrs Jones"
"you can always cuddle me".
