"Kev hey wait up!" I shouted carefully dragging my daughter Lilia with me to the outside parent teacher conference
"geez Betty late again?" He chuckled pulling Matteo closer to his hip, him and Fangs had recently adopted him and he was such a sweet little boy
"I know I know, Glenn needed me, we had a suicidal bomber four hours ago and I'm still a bit shaken up" I sighed
"wow, you good? Are you still on call?" He asked softly
"yeah I'm good, I'm still on call until tomorrow I think, not really checked my roster yet" I said quietly
"wait so you could get a call right now? So you can show what a hot ass mom you are!" He chuckled
"yeah yeah, it wouldn't be great if I did, it would mean running and I'm so tired" I groaned
"well I'll look after Lilia if you get a call okay?" He placed his hand on my back
"thanks Kev" I smiled gratefully
"Mr Keller and Matteo Keller" Mr Jones shouted from the corner
Jughead mother fucking Jones, the hottest teacher around, my daughters teacher
"Kev! What if I get a call?" I panicked
"I'm sorry, you might just have to leave her with Carol or Liana okay, I didn't realise I was getting called first" he whined whilst being dragged by Matteo
"yeah whatever" I sighed whilst smiling
Around 30 minutes past and Kevin came around the corner with a big smile on his face
"soo, how's my favourite little boy doing" I bent down to get to his level
"good, Mr Jones says I'm doing really good" he smiled with his toothy grin
"well done love" I ruffled his hair and stood back up to face Kevin
"good luck with Jones, he definitely has the hots for you" he winked before walking off
"shut up" I teased
"Miss Cooper and Lilia Cooper" Jughead called me and Lilia walked into the classroom
"hi Betty, hi Lilia, your working today" he pointed at my uniform smiling
I was the only parent he called by their first name.
"yeah, sadly I am, so if I get a call during this I'm so sorry" I sighed softly
"don't worry it's okay, anyways Lilia is actually doing really well, she's excelling at her maths and English literature, she is struggling with reading though which is something we can work on with a little help" he smiled sweetly at me whilst looking at her books
"is there anything I can do at home to help her?"
"maybe read to her, have her read to-"
my pager rang
"shoot I'm so sorry, Lilia I'm gonna have to leave you with Marie again" I groaned starting to run out the classroom
"no no!" She shouted
"Lilia Cooper your going to stay with her" I said sternly
"hey Betty, um I can look after her if you want, your my last parent for today, I don't mind" he shrugged
"yeah sure thanks so much!" And with that I had already ran out of the classroom

Betty Cooper, the prettiest woman out there the best job, the best kid, she had the best smile I was head over heels for her.
She had just left me with her kid and I had no idea what to do
"Lilia do you want to go home?" I asked
"yes please" she said shyly
I walked her home and she told me the code for her house I walked into the most beautiful home ever, it had lovely plain decorations it screamed Betty everywhere I looked
"can we bake cookies for mommy, she's sad at the moment" she fumbled with her fingers,
why was she so sad
"of course we can sweetheart, why's your mom sad?" I asked
"I don't know I hear her crying sometimes it makes me sad" she whispered softly
"oh I'm so sorry" I said carefully wrapping my arms around her body
"cookies!" She shouted
"yes of course let's go make some cookies"
time skip 5 hours
Betty still wasn't back yet, Lilia had just gone to bed and I was sat marking some books when I heard the back door open and someone crying
I walked out of the kitchen to see an exhausted Betty carrying her coat and a bag, along with the bags under her eyes, in the way she was stood she looked so thin and defeated
"Betty hey, are you okay?" I walked over to her stretching my arm out to grab her, she looked like she could fall down at any minute
"no" she burst out crying, my heart broke for her, she grabbed my arms and pulled herself into my embrace, which I gladly took and wrapped my arms around her tightly
"Lilia's in bed, she made some cookies for you" I smiled at her after a while
"how much do I owe you for looking after her?" She pulled away and started to rifle through her bag
"nothing, I enjoyed looking after her, she's a good kid" I smiled placing my hands over hers to make her stop
"thank you so much, I really am grateful" she smiled warmly
"no worries, hey listen you look really tired, do you want me to run you a bath or something"
"no no I'm okay thank you" she sighed softly
"no come on, your in no state to look after yourself, at least let me help you?" I said
"fine" she eventually gave in
I was making my way upstairs when she called out
"jug? Isn't this really inappropriate, your my daughters teacher and your in my home about to run me a bath" she fumbled with her fingers
"it's not inappropriate unless you make it Cooper" I winked, I could see her blush profusely
