"i was trying to make tonight special so that maybe we could just have a night together just you and me but obviously it's not working, let's just carry on eating" i sighed and walked to the other side of the table where my food was and sat down
"what do you mean betts?" he asked, i looked up and saw his face, he matched my sad look

"but that's okay, i'll wait" he smiled sympathetically

"why? why is it? because i certainly don't think it is" he said, his face pulling a puzzled look, he kneeled down next to me and took my hands
"because it just is! jughead i missed out being with my daughter the first time she learnt to swim because of it, i was far to insecure and terrified you'd be embarrassed of me, i can't even shower with you anymore, i sleep fully clothed not just in your shirt because of it!" i cried
"okay, one i'm not embarrassed of your body betty, i am fucking in love with it, i love every single inch of your body, stretch marks and all and two, i will never ever ever be embarrassed of you or your body, i miss you showering with me so come and do it, and wear my shirts, it makes me sad you don't wear them anymore" he chuckled trying to lighten the mood
"okay" i giggled agreeing with him and laying my head on his shoulder
"now, the foods gone cold so go and put on that beautiful dress ronnie got you for your birthday and we'll go out for dinner okay?" he smiled and kissed my lips softly, i just hummed in response and walked upstairs, getting dressed
we got in the car and drove to some fancy restaurant jughead had managed to reserve a table with last minute, he had his hand on my thigh the entire time
"your so beautiful betty, don't you ever forget that okay?" he smiled and looked over to me i blushed bright red
"okay" i whispered and stared at the road ahead
we ate and decided to leave, he picked me up and carried me in, running upstairs and throwing me gently onto the bed, turning to the door and locking it
"no, more, distractions" he smiled and kissed my neck, making me moan
"let's take this dress off shall we?" he said, rolling me over and pulling the zip down far to slowly for my liking
