"princess?" jungkook called out as he neared the  singers bed, clothes scattered as he saw - what he presume was Taehyung - curled up into the fetus position.

"go away" Taehyung grumbled as he pulled the blanket over his head tighter, afraid that jungkook might try and pull them off.

Jungkook heard the strain in  the older's voice, indicating that he had either cried or sang all night (considering that he hasn't left his bed all day I'll say the first)

"princess what's wrong?"  Jungkook asked as he sat down on the bed, softly stroking the older's males leg. He saw a receipt from the coner of his eye, slightly torn but still in good shape

wait i didn't? -

"you forgot" Taehyung whispered as he bit down on his bottom lip, trying to hold back the tears. Taehyung wasn't one to cry over things like these, he usually wouldn't get this upset, but in this case it was diffrent.

It was jungkook, and anything associated with the younger made Taehyung's heart swell with happiness, so the fact that the younger had forgetten their one year anniversary just made him insecure.

"princess I'm so sorry" Jungkook softly said as he mentally started scolding himself. Truth was he had been in an underground fight until midnight and by the time he had gone home he was too exhausted to even think straight, that still wasn't an excuse to stand up his baby, especially on their one year anniversary.

"gosh I'm such an idiot" jungkook grumbled to himself as he stood up, Taehyung frowning when he didn't feel the weight of the other boy  anymore.

He slightly pulled the blankets off, trying to see where jungkook had gone to but enough to still keep him hidden. He had miserably failed when a strong pair of hands snatched the blanket away from him, revealing his red puffy eyes.

"aww bub"  jungkook softly spoke as he pulled the older into a tight embrace, feeling even worse after seeing how much the older had actaully cried.

Taehyung wanted to protest but stopped once he felt a wet spot on his shoulder, soaking it completely within the 20 second hug.

"kookie?" Taehyung called out as he tried to pry away, making the younger look at him but Jungkook's grip was too strong.

"i-I'm so sorry i didn't mean to forget , i marked it on my calendar and i even bought you something but i forgot and i was so exhausted yesterday I'm sorry i really didn't mean to i was -"

"I'm not mad" Taehyung softly said as he finally pulled away, softly wiping up the remaining tears of the younger. Jungkook sniffed, looking down at his hands.

Taehyung softly smiled at the sight infront of him. Jungkook was usually this tough bag of muscles and bratty remarks yet here he was, crying because he felt so bad for forgetting their anniversary.

"b-but i made you cry and -" jungkook started as his eyes welled up with tears.

" i was pissed at first but you're here now, that's all that matters" Taehyung softly smiled as he kissed the younger's tears away.

"but i still -"

"and i forgive you kookie, you didn't mean it" Taehyung cut the younger off again.

"but that still doesn't make it right, my tears shouldn't be the reason you forgive me" jungkook pouted, now more upset than before.

Taehyung couldn't help but smile, he could see the sincerity in the younger's eyes. He knew he was probaly really busy, and the fact that the younger didn't even try to justify his actions by using his tears just made Taehyung appreciate him even more.

"how about we shower and then you can make it up with cuddles, how does that sound?" Taehyung asked as he intertwined their hands, their promise rings glowing in the dim light of the room. Jungkook sniffed but nonetheless agreed.

After they had shower and shared short but sweet kisses , the two males were curled up under Taehyung's blankets, the older giggling at something that had happen on the show.

Jungkook had looked down at the male in his arms, pure love in his eyes. He couldn't help but feel like he didn't the deserve the older, like the older deserved better, but he promised himself to be better.

"what ya thinking about?" Taehyung asked as he looked up at Jungkook, his bangs hanging his eyes.

Jungkook smiled before placing a soft tender kiss on the older's lips, making the older smile half way in it.

"just how happy you make me" Jungkook replied as he pulled away, their faces however still inches apart.

Taehyung gave Jungkook the brightest smile he could, truly happy that he had hired the younger as his bodyguard.

"i love you" jungkook whispered, staring  lovingly into the older's chocolate brown orbs, meaning ever word he said.

"and i love you" Taehyung whispered back as Jungkook broke into the biggest bunny smile, making the older's heart swell at how pretty his boyfriend was.

They spent the rest of the night giggling and whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears, happy in the tender and pure love they had created for themselves. They were truly happy, and hoped that they would always be.
