"So, what do you want to talk about in private?" Sebastian asks him while sitting on top of the table. "These galactic mobiles aren't the stars of McKinley. We are. Or at least, I want us to be." Sam said to him. "Okay." Sebastian said to him. "I love you, Sebastian." Sam said to him making Sebastian smile a little. "We ever said that to each other before." Sebastian said to him. "I know and I wanted to be the first." Sam said to him and Sam kneels down on one knee and presents a little white box with a ring inside to Sebastian.

"What are you doing?" Sebastian asks thinking it was a joke. "Stand up. You're freaking me out." Sebastian said to him. "I want to marry you...someday." Sam said to him making Sebastian look at him. "Until then, will you accept this promise ring?" Sam asks him. "What are you, six?" Sebastian asks him making Sam laugh a little. "If you accept, this ring will symbolize my promise to you to be true, to listen to your problems, to tell you when you have food in your teeth or eye gunk, to come over to your house whenever you need something super heavy moved around. I promise to make you feel proud when you point down the hall and say, "That dude's my boyfriend." And I promise to do all of those things without ever trying to sound like Matthew McConaughey. I really care about you, Sebastian." Sam said to him. Sebastian jumps off the table and closes the box. "You don't want it?" Sam asks him while standing up. "I think about it." Sebastian said to him and he kisses Sam's cheek and walks out of the room leaving Sam.
