You were walking towards Hatori's office, when you overheard a few maids talking about you. You halt unconsciously, getting reminded of the feeling of being at the estate."Did you hear? Akito-san is building a new house just for caging up, (Name)-san."

"Seems, they didn't want to put her with Kyo-san. I guess we know why." You hear, as the thumping of your heart becomes louder. "Honestly, I feel a bit bad for them, getting locked up for the rest of their lives." Momiji takes a hold of your hand and gives it a squeeze, you take a deep breath. He smiles at you, reminding you that he was here with you.

You enter the room, and halt their gossiping, having enough of always having to listen to it... even as a child. The maids all stare at your unexpected arrival in surprise, as they scurry onto their feet."(N-name)-san, why are you here.." The two young maids bowed, as they spoke to you.

"I'm looking for Hatori-san. Do you know where he is?" You calmly ask, ignoring their stares and questions as to if you had heard anything. The two females nodded, and told you how he and a young brunette were by the river. You thanked them, and quickly left, not wanting to stay for even a second longer.

After walking for a bit, towards the river, you could see Hatori and Tohru, in a distant. You sighed, once more in relief at Tohru's comforting presence. It had seemed like anything before Tohru had arrived in your life, simply did not exist.

"Tell me... What do you think comes of snow when it melts." Hatori softly asked Tohru as he gazed at the snowflakes falling. His mind drifting to thoughts he wasn't supposed to be having. "When snowmelts, spring comes. No matter how cold it is, spring will always come." Tohru mindlessly answered his questions, smiling at the falling snow.

"But Hatori-san, if we had no winter, spring wouldn't be so pleasant." You calmly say, as Hatori and Tohru turned around and faced you. They seemed slightly startled at your sudden presence, but sighed in relief as it was just you. Hatori hummed, taking a moment to think of what you had just said .

"(Name)!" Tohru happily called as you quickly made your way to Tohru, gently embracing her, before turning to Hatori. "Without winter, spring wouldn't be so pleasant." You repeat once more.

"You make so many people smile. I hope one day, you find happiness. Because you really deserve it, Hatori-san." You say, offering him a smile. He blinks in surprise at how it felt like you knew what he was thinking about. He smiled before ruffling your hair. He realized something, " The two of you are bright as spring."

You sat outside as it snowed, it was pretty chilly, but you kind of liked watching the snow fall. "What are you doing out here? It's freezing!" Kyo scolded you, as he wrapped his coat around your shoulders and took a seat beside you.

"I'm fine! You can have you coat back." You say, not wanting him to feel cold. You were about to take it off, when he stopped you, gently taking ahold of your hand."I gave it to you. So have it." He mumbled, doing that think where he looked the other way as he spoke, avoiding eye-contact.

"Did you hear anything about after high school from Akito?" You ask, changing the topic and referring to the conversation you had overheard today."I haven't. But if you're worried about the future, don't. It'll be alright." You nodded your head, as you gazed at the snowflakes falling.

"You can rest..." He mumbled something under his breath, however you couldn't hear the rest of the sentance properly. "What?"

"I said you could rest your head on my shoulder, if your tired!" He said, his voice suddenly getting louder as he looked at you with a red face. You laugh at the sudden face he had made, at the sight of a flustered Kyo. Yet did as he said, resting your head on his shoulder. He moved his hand so it was on the top of your head.

"Thanks."

"Yeah."
