ᴇᴀʀʟʏ ᴍᴏʀɴɪɴɢꜱ

Valentines was two days away. Hence why, there was a block poof of smoke surrounding the kitchen, in addition to the air smelling burnt... it would also explain why you, Tohru and Kagura were putting out the fire that raged on and on in the oven."Eeek! The fire alarm is going off!!" Tohru yelled as she quickly opened all the windows and doors.

"Kagura... You had one job! To make sure our chocolate didn't burn down! What did you even do?" You ask as you got two huge heavy buckets of water. "Wah! Its not my fault! You left me unsupervised (Name)!" Kagura yelled as pointed an accusing finger at you, while ignoring the franticly worrying Tohru.

"You're literally older than us! Plus don't blame this on me!" You yelled in frustration, pointing right back at her. You were about yell at her again... until Tohru poured a bucket of ice cold water on you and Kagura. "Sorry (Name)-chan! Kagura-chan! You both didn't catch a cold did you? Are you okay?"

And so began, round two of making chocolates with Tohru, Kagura and you, of course. "Okay, let's try this again..." You say with a sigh, after having to clean up the entire kitchen. "I'm in charge because i'm probably the least likely to burn this place down." You say, as Kagura began whining once again.

You jumped off the dining table, getting ready for round two, while Tohru and Kagura both gave you a reluctant salute, before getting to work.

"Good Luck Kagura-chan!"

"Right back at you Tohru."

"Guys, we're not going into war guys."

...

Kyo seemed as if he had woken up on the wrong side of the bed today, with his unusually frownier frown, and obnoxious expression... you assumed it was either because it had rained yesterday, cats don't like rain, or because tommorow was Valentines. Meanwhile, you had woken up extremely early and were ready to start your day.

When you exited the room, you saw Yuki making his way downstairs. "Well good morning, your majesty." You cheekily say, giving him a mock bow, in addition to returning the smile that made its way on to his face. "Good Morning (Name). Or should I say peasant."

"Personally, I think I get to move up a rank or two... like... I don't know, a royal knight? Or a duchess?" You ask, as he laughed at your ever so serious expression before heading down the stairs. "I don't know if royalty suits you." He responded, to which you rolled your eyes. "Rude."

Kyo walked past you, his usual frown evident on his face. "Good morning Kyo." You greeted, offering him a warm smile however unfortunately he had ignored you, and instead continued on his path. "Well, someone's grouchy."

You entered the living room, in hopes of greeting Shigure however he was nowhere to be found.
"Hey, where's Shigure-san?" You ask Yuki, who was watching the Tv, he glanced at you with a shrug."Hm? Good question. He's either sleeping or that pervert probably disappeared to lala land."

You hummed in response making your way to the kitchen to grab food, there was some burnt cake in the fridge which honestly didnt look too good. And so you decided not to eat that. "What do you want for breakfast?" You called out to Yuki, who was still watching the television. "Shall we wait for Honda-san, and that pervert and decide with them?"

"I guess so." You say with a sigh, deciding to take a seat beside Yuki, joining him in his very interesting (not) television show. A few moments later, Tohru skipped downstairs, greeting everyone and starting on breakfast. Which you ended up helping. And soon after, Shigure woke up, greeting you like usual, and sharing his very cheery grin to everyone.

You all gathered up at the table, getting started with breakfast. It wasn't until a little later that Kyo made his way down. "Ah! Kyo-kun! You're ready! Would you like breakfast?" Tohru asked, pointing to the food infront of you. "Not in the mood." He grumbled, skipping breakfast and heading out the door.

"I'm going to join him. See you in school Tohru, Yuki. Bye-bye Shigure-san." You say, waving goodbye to Shigure while running up with Kyo. A comfortable silence filled the air as the two of you walked to school. You glanced at him, "Well, Mr. Carrot top, you're grouchy this morning." You spoke up as Kyo ignored you once again. You rolled your eyes in response.

"Brrr. My hands cold, I bet yours are too. Want to hold hands?" You teasingly ask, holding out your hand as a joke. An awkward silence filled the air this time. You sighed in response. "Damn, you're so noisy." He grumbled once again, yet his cold fingers caught you off guard as he interwined them with yours. You blinked in surprise.

"But you couldn't resist my offer. I was pretty smooth." You say, with a cheeky smile as Kyo ignored you, and this time you really couldnt blame him. "Shut up."

You both continued walking, hand in hand, in a very comfartable silence. You enjoyed this morning. You enjoyed every morning with them.
