"uhh, Steve" Seven nudged the Captain next to her and he swivelled around from where he had been staring out of the window. "Considering my identity is going to be a secret, am I going to need a code name like you all have?"

" Probably not, we have comms so there's no reason to yell, the public doesn't tend to stick around that closely while we fight" Steve replied.

"But what about after? When people start asking questions about who I am. Peter said that sometimes reporters show up afterwards if the threat wasn't that imminent" She added.

"Good point, I mean you can come up with one if you would like," Steve patted her shoulder and turned back towards the window. Seven took that as her cue to leave so she made her way to the opposite seating where Peter and Natasha were sat, talking quietly.

"What about you guys?" Seven sighed, she wasn't feeling creative enough to come up with a name all by herself. "How did you get your names?"

"Well, I'm part spider and a man sooo..." Peter stated obviously.

"A man?" seven snorted, "that's questionable."

"Hey! It is not." He exclaimed, offended.

"What about you m-Nat" Seven scolded herself internally, she really did need to have that conversation with Natasha. Plus Steve didn't know that Natasha knew and Tony had no clue overall.

"Red room" Natasha answered bluntly.

"Right, I forgot about that," Seven gave her mother an apologetic look.

Natasha shook her head and smiled as if to say 'don't worry about it,' and Seven smiled back, relieved.

"I still have no clue, I can't come up with one right now," Seven huffed and sat down on the floor.

"What aboouuuutt," Peter thought for a second, "Element-girl"

"Are you kidding?" Seven asked, "Please say you are."

"What? It's like mine" He pouted.

"It is rather awful," Natasha said.

"Okay then, how about 'elemental?'" Peter offered but Seven shook her head again. "I thought that one was better!" he exclaimed.

"It is better, but a little on-the-nose don't you think?" Seven replied, "Look at Natasha's name, 'Black Widow,' It has nothing to do with her. She isn't a spider, right?" Seven looked over for confirmation.

Natasha laughed and nodded, "No, I'm not a spider"

"Phew, I don't really want Spider genes if I'm honest" seven giggled.

Peter looked at his friend. The malnourished, abused, lonely girl that he found on the rooftop not that long ago was definitely not the same one that was sat in front of him now. She was more confident and most importantly, she was happy. Peter smiled to himself realizing that without him, she would never have been reunited with her mom.

"I'd appreciate it if you stopped staring at my daughter" Natasha prodded his shoulder harshly to snap him out of his daze.

"Huh?" Peter looked around confused.

"You were staring" Seven teased, smirking when Peter's cheeks went a little pink.

"I was not" Peter crossed his arms, "I think Natasha is just being an overprotective parent already" He concluded.

Seven's grin grew twice the size at the thought of her mom being overprotective.

"Please, we all know that Tony is the helicopter parent here" Natasha argued, "You know how many questions you get when you go anywhere" She laughed.
