A Different Beginning ~ Part 23 ~ Updated: 1/8/15 Evening 

**POV: Sang**

“Sang Baby?” My eyes fluttered open and I met North’s brown eyes. He looked ever so worried and he ushered for me to move so he could settle behind me. I watched warily and nodded slowly moving with Dr. Green’s help. A blanket was settled around me and the warmth of North warmed me in turn. He kept an arm around my stomach keeping my close to his chest. “Oh baby…” He whispered once I had settled and he lightly rubbed an arm. I was shivering and shaking badly. 

Kota slowly sat by my feet and I made room allowing him closer. “Sang… really I am…” I managed a smile. 

“You were keeping everyone safe right?” I whispered and coughed a little, North’s arm tightened around me bringing me into his chest as I coughed. I turned back to Kota and smiled. “You don’t need to be sorry… ” I whispered and leaned against North’s chest wheezing out a sigh. 

“Hand.” Kota whispered and I felt him playing with my hair a little and rubbing my feet. It was nice and I didn’t pull away. I closed my eyes resting.

The scent of moss and cyprus wavered over and my eyes opened again finding Victor and Nathan by my side. I slowly started to sit up but a rush of hands lightly guided me back to North’s chest. I flinched at the hands but smiled. “I guess I won’t sit up..” I giggled softly and North smirked above me. 

“You just stay where you are Peanut.” Nathan smiled his small smile and I nodded staying in the warmth of the other. “Could we take your temperature?” My eyes widened surprised and my hand slipped over to my mouth playing with my lip. 

“I-I guess..” I whispered and Nathan shifted forward with a ear thermometer in hand. He applied a new tip and shifted. I quickly closed my eyes and felt Kota shift my hair away, North’s arms tightened around my sides. 

“Baby girl… it’s okay…” He whispered and I suddenly felt something on my ear making me flinch hard and smack my head into something hard. That was so smooth. There was a gasp I felt a pain in my ear and I quickly pulled away.  North’s arms were tightening and I was suddenly shaking badly. 

“North…” I barely managed to whisper and he quickly loosed his grip and I wheezed out a breath. 

“Baby don’t move okay? Fucking hell Nathan! Dr. Green!!” He yelled and I felt my entire body shaking. What happened? I clung to North tears forming. 

“North?” I whispered starting to panic. 

“North calm down! Its okay she is fine it was an accident.” Nathan argued his voice on the weaker side and I forced a breath. 

“Princess… listen to me…” Victor’s voice was close and I nodded my eyes blurring. “Everything is fine. I promise. He just got nervous when you flinched and knocked you on the head a little. Nothing happened.” He whispered and I nodded again feeling the shaking stop slowly.
