A Different Beginning ~ Part 51 ~ Updated: 2/7/15 Late Late Evening
Opening my eyes slowly, I peered around silently unsure of where I was. A large king size bed with white sheets and black and grey covers were piled over my keeping me warm. Mr. Blackbourne. My heart warmed a little. Covering my chest cautiously I moved slowly to the doorway leaning against it. I could hear the guys outside of the door talking.
"Silas you need to calm down." Nathan responded.
"You saw her." His voice was still harsh but not as angry as from before. How long had I been out?
"But Doc didn't know." Kota's voice of reason stepped through.
"She didn't say anything either." Gabriel responded. "She probably was holding back because he said that it wasn't long enough."
"Fucking hell." North whispered.
I glanced down nervous and there were footsteps. "Silas..." My heart wrenched. Dr. Green. His voice was weak and pained. "Please can I see her?"
Opening the door slowly, all eyes turn and I glance up to Dr. Green smiling. "Would you like to come in?" His eyes shimmered with tears and he nodded rushing quickly into the room. I shifted glancing at Silas whose eyes met mine. "He didn't mean to." Silas's eyes softened and he nodded as I closed the door.
Dr. Green stood awkwardly in front of the large bed. "Sang I-" He started and instantly I rushed into his arms hugging him tightly.
"You need to calm down first." I whispered quickly and his legs shook forcing him to sit down. Sitting down slowly on the other side of the bed, I leaned into him. "Sean this was not your fault."
His eyes watered and he pulled me tight into his chest. "Pookie I had no intention of making you black out. The medicine was supposed to keep the pain away for a while."
I nodded and curled up looking down. "It hurt. But I didn't want to cause a scene." Dr. Green's eyes widened and he took my hands.
"Sang you have to tell me when you aren't feeling good scene or no scene. If Gabriel hadn't turned around..." Dr. Green shuttered and there was a quiet knock at the door, Mr. Blackbourne stepping in with a glass of water.
I smiled and he relaxed spotting me and stepped forward handing me the glass. I took it and quickly gulped down the cool liquid feeling better. Taking a seat to my left he looked to me. "Sang when your wheezing started you should have told one of us in a second." He rubbed my back and I glanced down.
"But with everything going on I thought-" Dr. Green shook his head and I glanced over to Mr. Blackbourne who watched me carefully.
"It became more of a scene the second you couldn't breath. You had everyone in a terrible panic." Mr. Blackbourne's silver eyes met mine and he continued to rub my back slowly. "You can't be afraid any more to reach out to us."
