A Different Beginning ~ Part 52 ~ Updated: 2/8/15 Late Evening
**POV Silas**
Pulling into the parking lot I quickly turned around pushing my seat down moving into the back of the car. She had been slammed into the door and it was my fault. Rushing to check her over, my eyes widened seeing tears on her face. But before I could even say anything she rushed to speak. Her voice was on the softer side as she quickly described the car and the driver and my eyes widened putting together information. The reason why she hadn't moved from Victor's arms was because she was able to look out the window and take a look at the driver.
"We need to keep her." Gabriel smiled beside me and I nodded refocusing on the other.
My eyes slipped over he slowly and I nodded to Gabriel. "Let her sit in the front and lay down for a little bit." Gabriel nodded and stepped out of the car moving to the back seat. Pushing my door open, I opened Victor's door and ushered for Sang to move slowly into my arms.
Without hesitation she took my hands standing up on her own. Moving slowly, she gained her balance pushed the tears out of her eyes and then held my hand as we walked around the side of the car. I helped her into the front seat, pushing her chair down a little so she could lay back before getting back into the car.
I made sure everyone was buckled in before I started the car once more and headed to the mall. I glanced at the mirror and Victor held his phone in his hand typing away madly. Good maybe Mr. Blackbourne would have an idea as to why they were following North's car. Glancing over at Sang, she smiled and I placed a hand on her knee squeezing gently.
"You okay?" My eyes wondered hers only taking my eyes off the road for a moment.
"Yeah." She smiled rubbing her stomach lightly. "Just a little shaken. Why was someone following you?" Her eyes met mine and I glanced down.
"It could be for a number of reasons unfortunately." I took a slow breath glancing at Gabe who nodded to continue. "It could be because of the jobs we are handling."
"Could it have been someone from Ashley Waters?" Her voice was filled with concern and I knew she was thinking of Gabriel and Nathan. They had been attacked when they were heading to her and it was possible that she felt responsible.
"It is possible but we will have Mr. B look into it." I responded quickly.
"With that description you gave us Trouble everything will be resolved faster." Gabriel added and I smiled as Gabriel met my look in the mirror.
Sang settled down resting for the rest of the ride to the mall but I as I listened to her breathing I realized it wasn't evening out. Glancing over, I studied her as she spoke to Victor and Gabriel. She was in good color but for how long and how much damage had I done.
Pulling into the parking lot, Gabriel hopped out instantly helping Sang out of her side of the car and we all moved into the mall together.
Glancing down to my phone I opened a new message.
Silas: I assume Victor has already told you about what happened but I am worried about Sang. Her breathing hasn't evened out.
A couple of seconds passed and a response came as we made our way into the first stop. Gabriel rushed away with Sang into the panties and bra store leaving Victor and I off to the side with the customers giving us weird looks.
Dr. Green: Keep an eye on her but she might not notice. The medicine I gave her will keep the pain away but if her breathing becomes to much you have to make sure she doesn't pass out.
