POV Sang:
Letting out I weak breath, I could feel exhaustion setting in. Closing my eyes I took a moment to calm down and when I opened them I noticed North in the doorway. I smiled softly and he shifted in closing the door behind him and surveying me. His complexion was paler than usual as he stepped forward moving to my side.
Suddenly, I was wrapped up in his embrace his warmth making me relax but the touch making me flinch. Instantly, he loosened his touch backing up a little to look me over once more. I let out a pained breath and he quickly laid me back against the bed.
"Does it hurt a lot?" He whispered breaking the silence and I shivered nodding and he shifted closer. "Sang Baby you realize how worried you had all of us right?" I nodded but I was forced to close my eyes and he quickly caressed my cheek. "Easy..." He repeated the same warning that Gabriel did and I opened my eyes a little meeting his concerned face. "I don't know if Gabriel or Luke mentioned it but I know that they and the rest of the group, including myself are here for you no matter what." My heart froze and tears slipped into my eyes and I rushed to hide my face into his chest nodding my head.
"Oh shit..." He whispered under his breath and he quickly began to try brush the tears away. "Baby..." He whispered and placed a kiss on my forehead trying to calm me down but tears just continued to slip down my cheeks. I was no longer in control. The pain was to much and I had to give in. Every inch of my body hurt and I was trying to be strong but I just wasn't able to any more.
"Doc!" His voice makes me flinch but North stays close holding my hand tightly in his watching my every move. There is the sound of rushing footsteps and instantly Dr. Green is back by my side his hands rushing over me before he administers more pain medicine into my IV.
The tears continue to slip down my cheeks and Dr. Green carefully caresses my cheek softly whispering into my ear that everything is okay. I flinch at his touch even though I knew that I was safe. I glance to North who looks pained and I squeeze his hand as the pain medicine begins to take affect making me feel even more tired.
"Sang baby I am not going anywhere just sleep." North's voice is warm but strained as I feel my eyes closing.
"Please don't leave me..." I let out a mangled whisper before exhaustion takes over and I pass out.
I opened my eyes exhausted and I glance around at the hospital room I am in. This one is a bit smaller than the one I had been in to see the boys because of all the different machines tucked into the corners. Letting out a pained breath I focus on where I am, reassuring myself, that I am not back in that horrible basement. Glancing around I spot someone resting in the chair besides my bed. "North star?" I whispered weakly as the figure became a little clearer in the darkness. Instantly, he shifted closer to me as I laid curled up in the hospital bed.
"Sang baby relax your body..." He whispered softly placing a hand on my side and I let out a soft wheeze of breath trying to calm down. "How are you feeling?" North's voice was soft as he shifted the covers over me. I shook my head no and North's hands slipped to my forehead. "Baby girl..." His hands slowly slipped over me and I shivered shaking at his warmth and he lightly cupped my cheek. "You don't need to be scared."
