 A Continuation from 9/8/2021

Ohm was having trouble sleeping that night.

After the little commotion early that night in the welcome party with his girlfriend and former childhood best friend and the sudden drop of arranged marriage news from his father. He was angry, of course.

He's an adult and what year are they living in anyway that people are still getting in on an arranged marriage.

He's been turning and huffing on his bed just wrecking his brain on how to get out of this.

"Ugh!" He groans, throwing his blankets away and standing up from his bed. It was probably half past midnight but seeing as he's not getting any sleep, he changed out of his pajamas and left the house, being as quiet as he can so as to not alert his father.

He was just driving aimlessly for 30 minutes when he finally stopped at a 24/7 convenience store. He took his phone and opened up Instagram, before typing in Fluke's name.

He spent another 30 minutes just checking on Fluke's Instagram account and smiling to himself. Sure, Fluke looks way different than the last time they saw each other, but that was because it's been 15 years and the last time he saw him was when he was still 4.

But he wasn't really expecting Fluke to look like how he did earlier when he saw him. So what did you expect him to look like Ohm? To be honest, he never really thought about it.

There wasn't that much picture of him on his Instagram account, but that was to be expected, he seems like a person who isn't as outgoing as he was when they were little.

"Noo..." he found himself caressing the one close up picture of Fluke and smiling. The memories of when they were children playing in his head. He never stops praying that Fluke will return to him for a few years after the smaller male's family migrates. But one day somehow, the memories slowly faded away.

The time his mother died, he cried all night long, shouting for his mother and Fluke.

But both never came back, and somehow his love for Fluke changed.

He hated that Fluke wasn't there when he needed him the most. He knows how much his mother was to him but Fluke didn't come back to him. That was why, he slowly started to resent the younger male. He started becoming the man he was now. The womanizer that doesn't talk with his father as much.

When his father said that they had actually arranged a marriage for him and his former childhood friend, he was more shocked than mad. And that made him more confused.

"What am I feeling?" He said to himself, sighing loudly.

"What? But Papa..." Fluke chased after his father after the old man dropped the news of his arranged marriage with Ohm. "I don't think it's a good idea." He added.

"Why? I thought you loved him." His father said, looking at him. Fluke blushed, looking down to his hands.

"I-I..."

"You don't?"

"I do!"

"Then there's no problem right?" His father said again, smiling reassuringly before going back to reading the news on his iPad.

"But Papa... I may love him, but what marriage is it if the love is one sided?" He said, which made his father put down his iPad and pull him to sit beside him.

"What do you mean?" Fluke looked at his father and bit his lower lips.

"You get it, please don't make me say it." He replied, his eyes started watering. Fluke's father sighs and pulls him into a hug.
