King Jim had truly never been so nervous. He couldn't show it, of course. He was King. He had to be tough. But mentally, he was biting his fingernails raw. Personally, he thought it was a stupid tradition that the King could not be present when his Queen is in labour, giving birth to his heir. Freddie was clearly in pain, and he looked utterly heartbroken when Jim had to step out of the room. Now, Jim kept his fingers crossed that there weren't any complications.

The throne room was packed with the court. There were Earls, Dukes, Duchesses, Lords, Sirs and Dames from all around the earth, awaiting the birth of the famous royal baby. Jim and Freddie had gone full traditional, and had waited until Freddie gave birth to find out the sex of the baby.

Meanwhile, Freddie was not doing so good. What the fuck were the past monarchs thinking, not letting the Queen have any medication or injection to help with the pain?! He was damn sure he'd never felt this much pain all his life. He was screaming so loud they must be able to hear him from France.

He had three people present to help him deliver the baby. There was his personal maid, Mary; his personal bodyguard, Peter; and John the Butler's wife, Veronica. She wasn't part of the court, but was in the palace at the time he went into labour, which was convenient because she was a doctor.

"Push, your majesty. It's nearly over. Here come the shoulders." He'd chop Jim's dick off, that's for sure. Then throw it out the highest window and have his chauffeur, Terry, run over it with the car. Freddie screamed hoarsely. He didn't know if he could keep this up. Thank the stars, the baby came sliding out with the next push. Instantly, there was a strong wail, and a quivering baby was wrapped in a white blanket, and put onto his chest.

It was a girl.

Mary had squealed and ran off, going to tell the King the sex, as agreed. Peter had cooed and dabbed over Freddie's forehead with a wet cloth. Freddie smiled wide as he kissed the whimpering baby's forehead. Little Sophia.

Mary ran into the throne room. All eyes were in her in a few moments. "Your Majesty, it's a girl." The throne room erupted into applause, and King Jim smiled wide, but asked after his Queen's health. Silence resumed.

"He's very well Your Majesty. Would you like me to take you to him?" Jim confirmed that he'd like to see his husband. Sue him, if he's jogged a bit going up the stairs, that was his business alone. He'd stepped through the door to see Freddie tucked up safely in bed, sitting up, with a tiny bundle of blankets in his arms. He'd looked up, and outright beamed when he saw Jim. He reached for him, and Jim was at his Queen's side in a moment.

His daughter was beautiful. She was the spitting image of Freddie. A big mop of black hair, tanned skin, and sparkling chestnut eyes. She'd whimpered when Jim took her, wondering where daddy had gone, and who this was. "Hello little Sophia. I'm your papa, and you are my princess. You're beautiful aren't you baby? Yes you are!" He lightly bounced her, cooing as she had dozed off in his arms. Freddie watched on with a smile.

Jim perched next to Freddie, on the edge of the humongous bed. "How are you feeling, my Queen?"

"I'm very well. I've never seen a baby so beautiful. I'm so happy we've finally got an heir, Jim. Although, I will admit, I do feel empty, now that she is not kicking around in my womb anymore. It feels strange. But I like being able to hold her and see her pretty face." Jim nodded in understanding. He'd grown accustomed to kissing Freddie's stomach at night, and having long, hushed conversations with it while his Queen dozed on.

"Are you fit to walk, my love? So we can present the child to the court? Duchess Dominique is asking after you." Freddie assured Jim he was fit to walk, and after getting properly dressed, they walked into the throne room together, the baby in Freddie's arms. The court applauded when they were announced at the door. Duchess Dominique rushed over to embrace her dear friend, and fawned over the princess. Queen Anita, King Brian of Sweden's wife, also offered congratulations to her fellow Queen.

The public were gathered outside the gates of the palace. A statement announcing that the Queen was in labour had been issued earlier that day, and they were waiting eagerly to see the royal baby. They screamed and applauded when Queen Freddie stepped up to the microphone, the princess in his arms. Every person in the throne room was waiting behind the balcony for the announcement of the baby. It was only King Jim, Queen Freddie and their personal bodyguards on the balcony.

"Dearest People, I would like to thank you for showing me such undying support throughout my pregnancy. It is highly appreciated and valued. I am very excited to present to you, Princess Sophia, the heir to the throne of Bohemiyana." The Kingdom erupted with joy. There were people crying in happiness, others were praying thanks for the safe delivery of the royal baby, and there were smiles all around.

Queen Freddie looked at his King, and he felt himself fall in love all over again. As Jim looked back at Freddie, he could tell they were both thinking the same thing.

Finally.
