The warmth of the morning sunlight seeping past the shielding curtains. The heat fell right on her eyes disturbing her peaceful slumber. Taeyeon tossed and turned and eventually was forced to open her eyes. She turned her body towards her bedside desk see that it wasn't there

What the ... Where's it gone?

Her eyes opened wider when she realised that she wasn't even in her room.

Where am I?

Taeyeon was wide awake now and sat up straight on the bed to see that she was still in Donghyuck's bedroom. She turned her head and spotted him cuddling a pillow sleeping on the couch.

Did he give me the bed last night? How sweet

Taeyeon got up and walked towards him. She knelt down and studied his features. He was sleeping so peacefully. A smirk formed across her lips as a dangerously cunning idea passed through her mind. She ran to his desk and ran back to him giggling.

She tried hard to contain her laughter

Taeyeon finished her breakfast and sat in the living room. Her legs were placed on Chenle's lap while the boy was playing games on his phone. Jisung and Renjun were watching TV. Taeil and Jeno were still eating their breakfast. Her head was tilted back on the arm of the sofa and her eyes were shut close.

"You ok?" Teayeons shot up from her position. Her legs are still on Chenle's lap. The boy was looking at her with a worried expression

"Yeah why?"

"You were shaking" she didn't realise that her body automatically shuddered when a thought popped into her mind.

Should I tell Hyuck...... No! No you can't tell him. He might leave you and judge you like everyone else did. Like Byeol did...

No one is allowed to know about Aera. No one!

"I'm just cold" she lied to the boy and leaned back again.

Taeyeon's peaceful nap was disturbed by a loud high pitched scream. She flinched at the sudden noise and gazed at the staircase. Everyone else stopped what they were doing to spot a furious Donghyuck at the top of the stairs.

His hair was sticking upwards like a porcupine due to the vast amount of hair gel used. Thick black eyebrows, moustache, and beard were sketched on. There were two circles painted around his eyes and the tip of his nose was coloured black.

"Lee Taeyeon!!!" Donghyuck screamed at the top of his lungs. The culprit couldn't help but give an innocent smile at the scene. "Don't smile!" He began to make his way down the stairs. But watching him hysterically run down like an animal the stairs like on a hunt made her uncontrollably laugh. He stood at the end of the stairs and pouted when hearing everyone laugh at him. Chenle was hitting Taeyeon's legs which were placed on him while cackling out his dolphin laugh. Taeil and Jeno smiled. Renjun and Jisung also laughed. Watching everyone laugh made Taeyeon feel great about her illegal action.

"You look great Hyuck!! So handsome" she complimented, hiding her smile trying to act serious.

The boy growled and narrowed his eyes towards her "You have a death wish? Come here!" He screamed like a girl which made her laugh even more but she stopped after seeing him make his way towards her. Taeyeon immediately got up from her seat, running away from him . Donghyuck chased after her, her heart beat fast when he was gaining speed.

Instinctively, she grabbed a pillow from the sofa and threw it towards him. Everyone just watched the two bicker and fight. Taeyeon turned around to see Jaemin who just made it at the bottom of the staircase. His expression was emotionless but he wasn't glaring at her like he always does. Instead he was staring at her intently, an unreadable expression.

She was brought back to reality when she felt someone attack her. Donghyuck tackled her, trapping her into a headlock. She couldn't help but laugh slightly. "Ok ok Hyuck I'm sorry !!" she giggled while tapping out. Donghyuck let go and pouted

"You could've used a normal pen and not a permanent marker. I tried washing it off but it's not working"

"Well then where's the fun in that?" Taeyeon giggled while trying to bring back her breath. Chenle ran up, giving her a fist bump. Jisung gave her a thumbs up. She looked up to a whining Donghyuck. She stepped closer and patted his spiky head.

"Since when did you both get so close?" Renjun asked. Taeyeon and Donghyuck faced him. "She is even calling you Hyuck."

"Yeah she is my best friend duh!" his tone of voice making it sound like it's an obvious fact. He placed his arm around her shoulder bringing her closer. Taeyeon smiled and turned around to accidentally make eye contact with Jaemin. This time he was glaring at her.

Seriously what's with him she thought to herself shaking her head in confusion.

The door suddenly flew open. Everyone turned around to see nct 127 entering into the living room. Taeyeon pushed Donghyuck away and ran towards Taeyong as soon as her eyes landed on him. She jumped into his arms and Taeyong happily welcomed her into his embrace.

"You're ok right?" She asked with her face still buried in the warm hug. The boy nodded "Yeah I am" there was a hint of sadness laced around his words. Her smile faded.

Taeyeon replied, "What about everyone one else?" She faced the rest "Are you all ok?"

"Jungwoo got injured. He was shot. Yuta is treating him right now" Mark quietly said. The other members walked closer to the others asking more questions about Jungwoo. Taeyeon stepped away not believing their words. Jungwoo was like a second brother to her. He was the first to make her feel welcome into the gang house. Her heart stung hearing that he was hurt.

"He will be alright won't he?" Taeyong nodded and rubbed her back. "He will, he will be fine"
