"I'm sorry Yeon-ah." the girl groaned again hearing those words for the nth time. "Stop it" she narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm still shocked you killed them" he muttered but the girl still heard. "Are you disappointed?" he shook his head. "No I'm just glad you're alive and it's all done now. You won't he haunted by those nightmares"

"I'm not sure I feel like they will never disappear. The old ones may disappear but I think I probably formed new ones" she glanced at the floor avoiding his eyes. "Do you regret killing them?"

"They killed Mum, byeol and her family. Probably many others and also sold poor girls around the world. They deserved to die. But I regret the fact that I killed them. That's all!"

"Just don't think about it. You're free now from the past and you should strive for a better future. Don't let the past bring you down."

Her brother was right. Why suffer by forming another fear. She is free at last so she should be happy. A smile formed across her lips. "Thanks Yong" she hugged him and ran out of his office after a short goodbye.

She was on her way to Jaemin's room when a hand pulled at her wrist. "Yeon what are you doing here?" She turned to see a confused donghyuck. "Ah yuta said I'm recovering so I don't have to stay in his office anymore" nodding at her response he embraced her into a hug. "I'm so glad that you're safe. I made a promise to myself that I don't want anything to ever happen to any other member. I don't want to fail"

"You won't" she wrapped her arms around her best friend. "We haven't hung out and had fun in a while. Why don't we have a best friend catch up session? Just the both of us" donghyuck spoke out.

Taeyeon was more than happy to agree but her words were trapped in her throat as a voice spoke from behind here. "No she's mine" both friends turned to see a furious Jaemin. He pulled the girl into his arms and glared at Donghyuck before dragging her away.

"Jaemin!"

"Jaemin slow down!"

He didn't listen to her and locked the door to his room. She couldn't process what was happening. He strived towards her wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her into his chest. The close proximity sends a blush and a fast beating heart to explode. A feeling she hasn't felt in awhile.

"Were you jealous?" she carefully asked. She was scared that he would get mad at her question but her eyes widened by a shocked answer. He hummed in response indicating a yes. A chuckle left her lips and she held him tight. "Me and Hyuck are just friends"

"Can't you be closer to me?" he pouted as he pulled away. She was still in his hold. A smile formed across her lips. "Ok" she couldn't help but giggle.

"I missed you" a content feeling took over her body hearing those three words. She felt so welcomed and wanted. Something she never felt when younger.

"Jaemin....." she called out. He hummed waiting for her to speak. He was waiting for her to also tell him that she missed him, however the next words he heard made his heart race so fast that he could go into a cardiac arrest.

"I love you" she confessed to him before closing the gap between them. His arms tightened around her. Her hands rested on his sturdy chest. A wash of affection and warmth dotted in their chest.

He missed her tender touch and soft lips against his. The way she plays with his locks drives him crazy, making him fall for her adoration more and more.

Time slowed down, it felt like the world around them stopped, the only sounds heard was their exchange of love. Now and again he pulled away making sure the girl could breathe. His large palms caressed her hips deepening the kiss pulling her within him until there was no extent. Slowly they pulled away from each other, passionately staring into each other's darkened orbs.

"I love you babe" she smiled at his words, feeling her heart twirling and dancing. He didn't let her say the same words back to him again as he attached his lips back to hers.
