"Father wants you to marry Kisaki."
If you had been drinking anything, it would've immediately been spit out because of your brother's statement.
"I think not," you cringed.
"I think...that I don't care," your brother retorted.
"You're such a piece of shit." the atmosphere surrounding the three of you instantly changed due to your snarky remark.
chifuyu: be careful. we still need information from him
Chifuyu's warning reminded you of your true purpose here.
Neither Kisaki nor Shuji said anything in response to your comment.
"I'm sorry. I'm just in a bitchy mood today," you lied, trying to cover it up with a smile.
"Are you on your period or something?" Shuji asked, playing with his glass.
An irk mark was forming on the side of your head, but you attempted to keep your cool. "Yes. How did you know?"
"You were always extra bitchy during those times," he shrugged.
"This feels a bit personal," Kisaki finally spoke, shifting in his seat.
"I apologize for my rudeness, Kisaski," you regrettably apologized.
"It's okay beautiful. And you can call me Tetta," he smiled.
chifuyu: oh he is nasty
takemichi: that was cringy as fuck
draken: I just threw up in my mouth
Draken's last comment almost blew your cover, but you were a professional—sometimes.
"Of course Tetta," you returned his smile. "Shall we order now?"
The three of you scanned the menu, keeping conversation to a minimum.
draken: ask him about work
"So, Shuji, how has work been?" You asked.
"Same old, same old," he replied, never looking up from the menu.
"Oh please," Kisaki groaned. "Your brother is being too humble. He actually just got promoted."
"Really now? Tell me more about that," you edged him on.
"There's nothing fancy about it. I'm a top dog and follow my boss' orders."
"What kind of work do you do. I forgot," you fidgeted.
