"Hoy Jewel! Kanina pa humihingi ng orders ang costumer natin!"Napabalik ako sa reyalidad ng dahil sa sinabi ni Amber. I gazed at the costumer infront of me, who is definitely pissed.
"I-I'm sorry, ma'am."sabi ko at tumango naman ito."What's your order?"
"A cappuccino and chocolate cake," she said and I nodded.
"Is that all, ma'am?" I asked and she nodded.
"Yes," she said, and a couple of minutes later, I gave her the order and she thanked me before leaving the cafe. After that woman, there was another customer and I continued my job.
"Okay ka lang?" Sapphire asked.
"Of course. Why did you ask?"I asked and they looked at each other.
"Kahapon ka pa na ganyan. Hindi mo nga kami pinansin, eh." sabi ni Amber at humalukipkip. "May nangyari ba don sa cubicle?"tanong niya at napaiwas ako ng tingin. I remembered Jace telling me about Drake and trusting the wrong person. He's just delusional and passing it to me.
"Wala naman."
"Nakakita ka ba ng multo?" tanong ni Sapphire kaya napatingin kami sa kanya na nagtataka.
"What?"She innocently asked and we shook our heads.
"Sabihin mo lang sa amin, Jewel, kapag may problema ka." sabi ni Natasha at hinawakan ako sa balikat.
"Okay." I smiled. Umakyat na ako sa itaas at pumasok sa aking kwarto. Kumuha ako ng libro at nagsimulang bumasa. Napatingin ako sa oras at nakitang hapon na bumuntong-hininga ako at itutuloy ko sana ang pagbabasa ko ng biglang may kumatok sa pinto. Kumunot ang aking noo at binuksan ang pinto at nakita ang tatlo.
"Sasama ka ba, Jewel?"ngiting tanong ni Natasha.
"Hindi iyan sasama."sabi ni Amber at humalukipkip. Hindi ko siya pinansin at tinignan Sila Natasha at Sapphire.
"Saan kayo pupunta?"takang tanong ko.
"Sa bar."sagot ni Sapphire.
"Sasama ako."ngiti kong sabi at pumalakpak naman sila.
"Hindi ka pwede, Jewel. Hindi ka papayagan ng mga kapatid mo." Amber grinned and I glared at her.
"Papayag iyon."sabi ko kahit alam ko na hindi ako papayagan don. Sinira ko ang pinto at nag-isip ko kung paano ko sasabihin kaila kuya. Napaisip din ako na hindi nalang akong magsasabi. Hindi naman ako maglasing don, isang inom lang siguro.
My brows furrowed when suddenly Kuya Jaydee called. I answered it and then I saw his face from the other line.
"Kuya Jaydee?Bakit ka tumawag?"
[I heard that you have guy friends.]sabi niya kaya napabuntong-hininga ako. Wow. How quickly the information got to him would always remain to be a mystery. Looks like the person they have hired had already spoken to them about me. I wondered if they knew about the problems that happened in school. Looks like they don't, because if they did. Kuya James would already be here with his jet plane and come to get me, either by hook or crook.
"Alam ba ito ni kuya James at kuya JK?"tanong ko at tumango ito.
[Yup, they know. They will call you, tomorrow. I'm just giving you a heads-up.]he said and I nodded.
"Thanks, kuya."I smiled.
[You know, it's okay for me that you date guys or have guy friends, but they should promise themselves to me to not hurt you or I will break their bones.] I chuckled.
"Thank you, kuya," I said and he smiled.
[For you, baby sis. I better go, I still have work to do.]he said and was about to end the call, but I stopped him. Maybe if Kuya James found out that I went to the bar without asking permission, he wouldn't scold me, because I could just tell him that I asked permission for Kuya Jaydee.
