CHAPTER 30

I gaze at the long gowns presented infront of me. Mom bought all of them in a botique and asked me to pick one for the New Year's Celebration that will happen in a few days.

I crossed my arms as my mind wandered around at Jace. My brows furrowed. Possible ba na siya si Black? I mean, it's kinda clear that Jace loves the color Black. They have different voice though. Jace's voice is more cold and stern, while Black's voice is a bit playful.

I touch the fabric of one of the dresses. I pull it out and it was a violet dress that is very revealing. My stomach can be seen with it's diamond shaped design on the middle with some jewelries glued in them. It's also backless and sleeveless. But there are some gold outlines on my arms that draped on them.

I put it close on the mirror and notice that I would look good on it. I decided to also wear big earrings. Maybe pearls? Then, I will tie my hair into an updo. I also planned on wearing a bracelet that will hug my lower arm like a snake that is wrapping on its enemies.

Would Jace like it?

My eyes widened. Why am I thinking of Jace?!

Napatingin ako sa pinto ng biglang may kumatok. I put the long gowns back to their original place before opening the door.  Kumunot ang noo ko ng makita sila mama at kuya sa labas. May family meeting ba?

"What are you all doing here?"

"May goodnews kamig sasabihin sayo."My mom said while smiling at me. She turn her gaze on the long gowns that made her smile widen. "May napili kana ba?"

"Opo."I answered."I would like to wear the violet dress."

"Nice choice, dear."

"Ano po ba iyong good news na sasabihin niyo?"

"Before we tell you, let us in first. Mukha kaming baliw dito sa labas naghihintay sayo."Tinignan ko ng masama si kuya James dahil sa kanyang sinabi. I opened the door widely for them to go in. When they are already inside,  I close the door and sat at my bed. Lahat sila ay mas sariling upuan sa aking kwarto.

"Okay, ano iyon?"

"We have decided that..."My mom startd and looked at my brothers. Kumunot ang noo ko at tumingin din sa mga kapatid ko.

"That?"I asked, starting to get impatient.

"We're gonna stay here in the Philippines."msayang sabi ni mama. She gazed at me, expecting that I should be happy, but I was no near that reaction.

I was speechless!A-ano daw?!Anong sinabi niya?!Na dito na sila titira sa Pilipinas?!

"What?!"I shouted. Nagulat sila sa biglang pag-sigaw ko, mukhang hidi iyon ang inexpect na reactiom nila sa akin.

"She seems surprise."Kuya Jackson stated the obvious.

"Not the reaction I was expecting."said kuya Jaydan.

"She seems horrified,though."Kay Jayden stated his observation. They all gazed at me, weirdly and worriedly. I saw how Kuya's James expression turned somewhat suspicious.

D*MN!

Get it together, Jewel.

Ipaniwala mo sa kanila na Wala lang tinatago.

"I'm not horrified, I'm just shocked."sabi ko at tinignan sila ng masama. "Why?I mean sa tagal natin sa U.S. I never thought na gusto niyo pa umuwi dito."I am definitely  confused that they suddeny decided this. Unless...

"I wanted us to be whole again. And I miss us when we are still here."sabi ni mama at lumapit sa akin at umupo sa gilid ko at hinawakan ang kamay ko.
