It's Cold

Wooyoung and San had gotten home a while ago but San's teeth were still chattering as he sat in the living room buried in blankets.

Wooyoung thought that maybe San had gotten a cold, starting to make some soup after he turned the heater on to the max.

Wooyoung left the soup, getting San extra blankets, throwing them over San's shoulders as he sat next to him.

"San." Wooyoung said, San barely opening his eyes to look at him.

"It's cold." San said, letting his head fall onto Wooyoung's shoulder as he started to fall asleep.

That's when it hit Wooyoung.

Cold and sleepy?

That all the curse words in the universe in all languages and then some spiked San's drink.

Wooyoung reached out to take San's hand to see if he was right, San opening his eyes again.

"Does that feel warm?" Wooyoung asked, San nodding as he threw the blankets to the ground scooting over to hug Wooyoung.

"So warm." San said, snuggling closer to Wooyoung who would have laughed if not for the circumstances.

This happened because he wanted to be there for him.

Wooyoung pet San's hair, San almost falling asleep on his shoulder if it wasn't still cold.

San shifted, lifting himself up to sit on Wooyoung's lap hiding his head in the crook of his neck, wrapping his arms around Wooyoung.

"Now it's warmer." San said, with a small smile, Wooyoung leaning down to grab one of the blankets to throw over San ignoring his heart that screamed at him that he was the weakest he had ever been.

San smiled, opening his eyes to look up at Wooyoung.

"You're so nice human." San said, wanted to fall asleep, as he felt warm.

"That's why you get hurt easily." San said, his smile falling, lightly punching Wooyoung's chest.

"You're so sweet too. Sometimes I wonder if you're like that to everyone. You hate lying and-" San went a little quiet, playing with Wooyoung's shirt.

"I didn't tell you-" San said, getting up so that he was face to face with Wooyoung.

"I don't want you to stress about it." San went on, realizing what he was saying and doing, as he looked down at where he was sitting, still sleepy and a little cold.

"Oh. I'm sorry." San said, wanting to get up.

Wooyoung held onto San's waist gently, not wanting to let him go.

San felt his heart beat faster, looking into Wooyoung's eyes.

Everytime he tried to pull away, Wooyoung would just bring him closer, inviting him to stay.

You don't do that with someone you aren't falling for.

San pouted, pushing the thought away as he tried to focus on what he wanted to say.

"I'm not- how do I put this." San said, looking for Wooyoung's reaction.

"I'm- it might change things if I tell you but-" San went on stumbling a bit on his words, Wooyoung smiling at him.

San's sleepy eyes grew wide open in surprise, Wooyoung's soft lips stealing his next words and his breath away both at the same time.

"You can lie to me." Wooyoung said, his tone of voice mellow, as he brought San down for a hug that made his demon blush.
